From the Pastor: “Community-building.” This is the goal of our parish activities, whether we are celebrating Sacraments, doing faith formation, or doing fund-raising. Our parish motto: “Open Doors, Open Hearts” is an expression of that goal. We welcome not just people who come through our doors, we actively open our doors of hospitality to people who have

been rejected or turned away from other doors. If we are going to do this ministry well and appropriately we must become persons with open hearts. A person with an open heart learns to listen and to be available, even when the presence of the other is a challenge. Willy Jam – One of our key community-building events, and important fund-raiser, is fast approaching. After our Parish Mass under the tent there are many fun activities, lively music, and much tasty food to enjoy. Volunteers who are members of the parish and members of our staff have asked for donations from various stores and businesses. Much of the food that we sell at Willy Jam is donated. All of the raffle items were donated by businesses or purchased by parishioners. A Television, IPad, Electric drill and impact driver set, 2 bikes for children, a chest freezer, household items, and other nice prizes await you. Good Luck! Cristo Vivo (Christ Alive), our parish Youth Group, is raising money in order to participate in a Diocesan organized camping trip. Their event is a contest between Fr. Andy, Fr. Jack, Deacon Luis, and Youth Minister Griselle Montalvo. One of them will get a pie in the face! Whoever has the most money in their container will win (or lose!). Pie will be thrown at Willy Jam. Good Luck! Graduation Season – Congratulations to high school, college, and graduate school students who have already been or will be graduated!! Note well that many of our Hispanic students are the first in their families to graduate from high school and/or college. Their parents did not have the opportunity to finish high school or even go to university studies. Graduation is always a great accomplishment and a joyful occasion. May your future be bright!! United Way Diaper Drive The United Way of Brown County is sponsoring a diaper drive to help keep babies of Brown County dry and healthy.

Diapers will be collected through June 27th.

Love Life Ministries will be one of the recipients of the diapers. Please put your dona ons in the large cardboard box in the church hallway. Thank you for helping those in need.

Social Concerns YOU can help mothers and children survive and thrive by writing a letter to senators and representatives to encourage them to support legislation that will save lives.

Next weekend June 4 & 5, the Social Concerns Committee will be available with letters for you to sign and be mailed.

The English Choir provides the music for the 9:00 AM Sunday Masses. We meet every week on Thursday evenings at 5:30 PM. We meet in the Music Room, the LL of the Community Center, Rm. 15. El grupo de jóvenes Cristo Vivo está recaudando fondos para su campamento de verano. Por lo que vamos a tener la actividad Pastelazo en la Cara. Los participantes son Padre Andy, Padre Jack, el diacono Luis y la ministro de los jóvenes Griselle. En la sala de reuniones tendremos unas alcancías y quien tenga más dinero durante St. Willy’s Jam se le tirara el pastel a la cara. Se aceptan todo tipo de monedas y billetes. Gracias.

Pie in the Face—Youth Fundraiser The youth group, Cristo Vivo, is raising funds for their summer camp. So we will have a Pie in the Face and our participants will be Father Andy, Father Jack, Deacon Luis or our Youth Minister Griselle, the Pie in the Face will be determined through a money war. In the Gathering space we will have jars with the photos of each participant. At St. Willys Jam, whoever has the most money will be the one to get Pied in the face. Mensaje de Nuestro Párroco: “Forjar lazos comunitarios.” Esta es la meta de las actividades parroquiales, ya sea que estemos celebrando algún sacramento, participando en formación en la fe, o recaudando fondos. El lema de nuestra parroquia es: “Puertas Abiertas, Corazones Abiertos” y es una expresión de esta meta. Damos la bienvenida no solo aquellos que vienen a

nuestras puertas, si no que de manera activa y hospitalaria abrimos nuestras puertas a personas que han sido rechazadas o las han corrido de otros lugares. Si hemos de realizar este ministerio bien, como debe de ser, debemos de convertirnos en personas con corazones abiertos. Una persona con un corazón abierto aprende a escuchar y a estar disponible, aun cuando la presencia de aquel a quien se está tratando de ayudar sea un reto. Willy’s Jam es uno de los eventos principales para forjar lazos comunitarios y también muy importante para la recaudación de fondos, y se aproxima rápidamente. Después de nuestra Misa Parroquial habrá muchas actividades divertidas, música en vivo, y mucha comida sabrosa para su deleite. Algunos parroquianos voluntarios y miembros del personal parroquial han pedido donaciones a varios negocios. Mucha de la comida que venderemos durante este evento es donada. Todos los premios de la rifa son donados por parroquianos o negocios. Una televisión, IPad, un taladro eléctrico y un juego de desarmadores, dos bicicletas para niños, un congelador horizontal, electrodomésticos, y otros premios bonitos les esperan. ¡Buena suerte a todos! Cristo Vivo, nuestro grupo parroquial juvenil, está recaudando fondos para participar en un campamento Diocesano. Su evento es una competencia entre Fr. Andy, Fr. Jack, Diacono Luis, and Ministro de la

Juventud Griselle Montalvo. Uno de nosotros recibirá ¡un pastelazo en la cara! El que tenga más dinero en el frasco ganara (o ¡perderá!). Habrá pastelazos en Willy Jam. ¡Buena Suerte!
