As the scheme titled 13th Finance Commission Award has now been closed as such no funds under said scheme will be available to this authority, after expiry of the revalidation period i.e 31-03-2016. Therefore , the validity of NIT/contract will cease to exist beyond this cut off date, and all works/contracts will finalized in terms of physical and financial in favour of successful contractors as per work done, as on specified cut off date, after being duly verified, checked and counter checked by the concerned staff. The time of completion of the advertized work i.e 30 days, notified herein shall start from the date of issuance of formal allotment order by the competent authority, in favour of the successful bidder and will include all calendar days. For any failure to execute/complete the awarded contract within the permissible time limit (reflected above) the contractor shall be solely responsible for the delay and no claim of any sort shall be entertained by the authority lateron, as the contract shall cease to be valid after 31-03-2016. 11. 3. Bids must accompany cost of tender document as shown against each work in the shape of demand draft in favour of Executive Engineer, Water Management WUCMA, and earnest money in shape of CDR/FDR pledged to Executive Engineer, Water Management WUCMA. The bids for the work shall remain valid for a period of 30 days from the date of opening of bids.

4. In case of those interested persons/agencies who upload their financial bids successfully but subsequently fail to produce the hardcopies of the required documents, the Demand draft being non refundable, shall not therefore, be released once produced before the pledged officer.

5. In case the cost of lowest bidder is found below the advertised amount the bidder has to deposit an additional security performance in the shape of CDR/FDR before issuance of award of contract to the tune as per below details:-

1 Upto 10% below rate over advertised cost NIL 2. Greater than 10% upto 20% below rate over advertised cost 3% of advertised cost. 3. Greater than 20% upto 30% below rate over advertised cost 5% of advertised cost. 4. The time of completion of the advertized work i.e 30 days, notified herein shall start from the date of issuance of formal allotment order by the competent authority, in favour of the successful bidder and will include all calendar days. For any failure to execute/complete the awarded contract within the permissible time limit (reflected above) the contractor shall be solely responsible for the delay and no claim of any sort shall be entertained by the authority lateron, as the contract shall cease to be valid after 31-03-2016.

11. 12. The successful bidder shall have to produce Labour registration certificate from the designated office at the time of award of formal allotment of work order.

13. The authority will not be responsible for any delay in online submission of the bid due to any reason (technical or otherwise).14. The authority shall not be held responsible for selection criteria/policy matter being adopted by the Directorate of Information regarding

Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting of KVK SrinagarThe 12th Scientific Advisory Committee meeting of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Srinagar was held on Wednesday, the 10th of February, 2016 in the meeting hall of Directorate of Extension, SKUAST-K Shalimar under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazeer Ahmad. Besides, Director Extension Prof. Affifa S. Kamili, the meeting was attended by the Officers of the University, Deans of various faculties, HODs of the SKUAST-K, Programme Coordinators of KVKs, District officers of the line departments and Progressive farmers who interacted to finalize Annual Action Plan (for the year 2016-17) of KVK Srinagar. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-K stressed on the need to formulate the action plan as per the geographical location of District Srinagar in consultation with various HODs of SKUAST-K. The Progress Report for the year 2015-16 and action taken report for the year 2014-15 was presented by the Programme Coordinator KVK Srinagar.
