Academy Update from Mr Hamidi Due to unforeseen issues still outstanding from the Common Transfer Agreement with the Local Authority, we are postponing our academy conversion until 1st March 2019. This will have no impact on what we are doing for the children in the school – teaching, learning, safeguarding and fun! We thank you for your continued support and enabling the school to progress. Weekly Update from Mr Rogers Another busy week at Welldon with lots more achieved! Attached to this newsletter is a letter regarding Rights Respecting School launched in our Y1-6 assembly today. Ask your children for more infor- mation. Sadly, We have received a number of complaints from neighbours about parents dangerous driving on Kingsley and Wyvenhoe Road and anti-social behaviour whilst awaiting for pupil drop off and collec- tion. There is more information about our School Travel Plan on Page 5 of the newsletter. Please respect the area around our school just as you do the school property! Thank you.

Academy Update from Mr Hamidi

An amazing Year 2 Robins

Class Assembly!

EYFS and Animal Club re-ceived a visit from a local

Guide Dog!

EYFS also had a visit from the fire

service!

Welldon’s Wild Woods continued with our RSPB Big Birdwatch

which will continue next week!

Rights Respecting School launched in our Y1-Y6 assem-bly. Look out for more in
