We feature a wide variety of activities for the Junior Campers. In addition to practicing basic academic skills, the children will enjoy in-house field trips, music, sports, arts & crafts, dance and drama, and water play.

Junior campers will participate in off-campus field trips that are self-contained, and include swimming at the Pine Island Pool, movies, and bowling to name a few. Your children will be carefully supervised at all times.

Welcome to summer vacation, Camp Saint David Style! Whether you are a returning Saint David camper, or will be joining us for the first time, this summer promises to be a fun and exciting one!

At Camp Saint David we strive to give your children a safe and loving environment to celebrate the summer. Through interaction with our professional staff, counselors, CIT’s (counselors in training), and volunteers, campers will experience opportunities to build friendships, self-esteem and confidence, and enjoy the challenges and rewards of teamwork on a daily basis. We will promote, and campers will practice kindness, consideration, fair play and sportsmanship, as well as community outreach throughout the summer.

We are blessed to have a well - qualified staff that is here to meet the needs of your children. All staff members and volunteers are carefully screened, and well trained in safety, first aid and CPR, and have been Virtus trained as well. As director, I have over 15 years of experience organizing and facilitating summer camp programs. The program is planned from a “Parental Point of View!” Safety is always our first priority with your children! Our camper to counselor ratio for off-campus events is one of the lowest in the area.

We look forward to seeing our old Camp Saint David friends, and to making many more new friends! We hope you will become part of our Camp Saint David Family!

How to Register for Camp Saint David:1) Detach this whole page and fill out the application form on the other side completely,

including all emergency information.

2) Indicate the sessions you plan to attend and figure out the total price of those sessions including any extended care needed.

3) Attach check, cash or include credit card number and expiration date for registration fee plus $100.00 deposit per-child for each session to be applied towards your tuition and extended care for that session.

4) Drop registration information off at either the church or school office or mail directly to Camp Saint David at the address on the cover.

Payment must accompany registration to reserve a spot for your camper(s).

Camp Saint David Policy Statement*Payment and Refund Policy:1) Camp Saint David requires all payments for a session to be paid in full prior to the first day

of the session your child will be attending. Payment can be made by mail or brought to the school or church offices for the first session of camp. After camp begins, all payments are made to the camp directors just inside the entrance of the Activity Center on the first Monday of each session from 7:30 – 9:00a.m.

2) Campers will not be allowed to attend camp unless full payment has been received prior to the first day they plan to attend.

3) We hope that your child will be able to attend the entire session for which you have registered. Only for an extended absence (more than three consecutive camp days) due to illness or family emergencies will a CREDIT towards future camp sessions and/or lunches be granted.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUND FOR ANY REASON.

4) Camp Saint David reserves the right to dismiss any camper without refund or credit, whose conduct is detrimental to other campers or the staff.

Standard Camp Policy:1) Camp Saint David reserves the right to change any program or activity based on enrollment

criteria or the unavailability of a specialist. Every effort will be made to provide a comparable quality substitute.

2) Each camper is responsible for the condition of property on the campus of Saint David Catholic Church and School. Parents may be billed for any damage caused by their children. RESPECT is the key!

3) IPods, IPads, computer games, jewelry, toys or other valuables should not be brought to camp. Camp Saint David is not responsible for any lost, broken, or stolen items.

Dress Policy:1) Campers are to wear comfortable and appropriate shorts and t-shirts with sneakers.

Sandals may be brought for water play and swimming. Camp T-Shirts must be worn on off campus days!

2) Swimsuits should be worn under clothes on days of swimming lessons or water play. A change of clothes and towel should be packed. Please check our activity calendar.

Camp Closings Policy:In the event of a weather or other emergency, information on the closing of the camp will be given by calling the camp office or by monitoring Y-100 (100.7 FM) and Channel 7. We will be closed if the National Hurricane Center broadcasts a “hurricane warning” for South Florida. We do not refund tuition for days missed due to weather or national emergencies.
