The focus of International Networking Week™ REACH – Network, Connect and Grow will be to bring together representatives of government, businesses, and the community to network with each other and to understand the concept of good networking. Key networking specialists from across North America will offer advice and information on how businesses can grow and succeed through good networking practices.
Invitations to attend are open to the business community, members of other networking organizations, students, press representatives, and interested parties from all levels of government and business. The idea is to raise the profile of networking in the wider community, recognizing it as an essential tool for success in today’s business climate.

BRIAN JOHNSONMoneyball: The Business Strategy
Having grown up in a small business household, I went to college in Ohio not knowing what I wanted to do. I just knew what I didn’t want to do ... struggle running a business like my father did. I pursued my degree successfully and entered the corporate
world. I spent the next 20 years of my life working for three different Fortune 500 companies. It felt awkward to me to do just “one type” of work. So as opportunities for
different experiences presented themselves, I took them. I’ve held leadership roles in Commodity Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing & Sales. My last
corporate role was leading the Global Sales organization for one of the divisions of my company.
Among the accomplishments I value:• Leading a $350M Sales Organization of 18 people delivering over $100M in growth over three years.• Traveling to and conducting Business in over 20 countries.• Continual learning: MBA, Chicago Booth Graduate of Executive Finance & UNC Keenan-Fleglar
graduate of Executive Leadership.
Looking ahead, I am focused on using my broad experience to partner with small and medium-sized businesses to aid them in achieving the growth goals they desire. I am driven to help all the “my Dads” out there that want to make their business work for them. I am focused on driving people and businesses to “Be Better.”

Business Voices™
The BNI Foundation has a long, proud legacy of helping schools in need, and a pivotal part of our philanthropic work was the creation of the Business Voices™ initiative. Business Network International’s Business Voices™ pairs BNI members and concerned, motivated corporations, service clubs and community groups with schools and educational organizations to help them find the resources needed to have maximum impact on the kids of our communities.Support looks different depending on what the schools or educational organizations identify as their unique challenges. In some communities, it may be poverty: kids need food to eat or socks to wear. Elsewhere, it may be bullying, eating disorders, or alcohol use. We listen directly to what the schools, and even the students, identify as their most pressing needs. BNI is Ground Zero for this initiative which we call this work “cause networking” — and who better to lead the way with cause networking than the world’s largest, most successful networking organization?
