The age range I surveyed was in the 17-25 year old category, as this is an age I think would be most appropriate to target at students/ young adults.

Most popular genres were Indie and Rock therefore I am basing it as an Indie rock magazine.

What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and

why? • IPC Media are the publishing company for the magazine NME, which has a

similar genre and theme therefore I would get them to print my magazine as it would sell.

• Bauer Media is another publishing company which I could also use to publish with as they use magazines such as Q and 4 music however due to IPC media publishing NME which is similar magazine to mine I would be more likely to go for that.

I used questionnaire to see What on the cover of a magazine attracts the audience of the magazine. This was the image and text So I made sure that they were the key focus of my magazine and it was kept throughout the magazine.
