Lesson Plan: Parts of the Face (class 3: 04/09) Name: Simon Repetto, Sofía - Rizzo, Ana Antonella Class: 5th Year Level: Elementary Length: 40 minutes. Class Description: The class is formed by 21 students: 10 boys and 11 girls, all about 10 years old. They have classes twice a week, 40 minutes. Main Aim: By the end of this class students will be able to identify the parts of the face. Subsidiary Aim: - To introduce new vocabulary referring to parts of the face. - Students identify each part of the face Personal aim: To be clear in explaining the topic so as children can learn it. Timetable fit: In the last class students have learned the parts of the body through the use of “Monsters Inc” characters, Materials: Whiteboard and markers Photocopies Computer and projector Anticipated problems: Some students may perceive the parts of the face difficult to learn or the vocabulary difficult to pronounce. Possible solutions: We, as models, must show them how to pronounce the words, y to make the classes a space where they feel that it is a topic easy to learn. We are going to put on the whiteboard an empty face, so children have to say what´s missing. We are all going to complete the parts of the face orally, so children can learn the new vocabulary.

We are going to give children a photocopy with a face, so they have to complete it with the new vocabulary acquired.
