Lesson Plan: Clothes (Class 14: 30/10/15) Name: Simon Repetto, Sofía - Rizzo, Ana Antonella Class: 5th Year Level : Elementary Length: 40 minutes. Class Description: The class is formed by 21 students: 10 boys and 11 girls, all about 10 years old. They have classes twice a week, 40 minutes. Main Aims: By the end of this class students will be able to name and describe pieces of clothing. Subsidiary aims: 1. To identify the different pieces of clothes 2. To describe clothes Personal Aims: That our methodology to teach the topic, help the students to learn and to understand it, as well as enjoy. Timetable fit: In the last class students have started their project on clothing. We have divided them into groups according to the different seasons and they are working on the final project. Materials: Whiteboard and markers Photocopies Anticipated problems: Some students can be uninterested in making the project or may find it difficult. Possible solutions: We will provide them the necessary help in order to encourage them to do it.

Continuing the project

We will give our students their projects in order to continue working with them. On this class they will focus on dressing up their girl or boy according to the season they were assigned last class. They will also focus on the decoration of it, so as to make it as personal and detailed as possible.

T –Ss 30 minutes

Describing the image

Each student will write sentences to describe what the boy or girl is wearing. They have to make simple sentences explaining the name and color of the clothes, following the model we gave them the last class. The aim of this activity is to be ready for the oral presentation of the project, next class.
