Namaste!

How time flies! We are all set to update you with all the events of the last tri-

mester of the academic session 2016-17.The past three months have been quite

happening, wherein the children enjoyed participating in the various sports

events, inter school events, other in-house co-curricular activities and field trips

along with the usual academic content. All in all, another memorable year has

passed by, the memories of which will fill the tender minds for years to come.

The educators, on the other hand, are pleased to see their students showing

complete readiness for the next class.

The children came dressed up as their favourite fruit

and spoke a few lines about it.

04.02.17 Helpers Children came dressed up as one of the helpers of their choice and they enjoyed sharing information

about different helpers with each other.

18.02.17 Object Talk The children carried objects of their choice and

spoke confidently about them.

11.03.17 Picture Talk The students spoke confidently about the pictures

they carried with them.

11.03.17 Fun With English The students revised all that was done in English

through this fun filled event.

20.03.17 Fun With Math Number concepts were revised through this Math

activity.

31.03.17 Fun With Hindi The children enjoyed revising their topics in Hindi

through this engaging activity.

3.04.17 Reasoning The students enjoyed solving questions on reason-

ing through worksheets.

7.04.17 English Reading The children showed their reading skills in the event

conducted with the aim of enhancing their skills.

10.04.17 Hindi Reading The children read simple Hindi passages with great

ease and confidence during the event.

An event ‘Fun in Holidays’ was conducted in Sr. KG on Saturday, 7th January ’17 . Children came forward and a spoke few

lines as to how they spent their winter break and then described it through con-

ceptual drawings. The children were happy to share their winter break experiences with their friends.

An event ‘Clean Indore’ was conduct-ed on 18.2.17 in Sr. KG. Children came in coloured casual clothes and

spoke about the importance of having a clean surrounding. They were well

informed about our Prime Minister's Clean India Mission and enthusiasti-cally shared their views with their

friends. They happily sang the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan song with their friends.

25.01.17 Hindi Recitation Shishyans of Class I sang patriotic songs and

recited Hindi poetry to celebrate Republic Day.

18.02.17 Drawing Event The students enjoyed expressing their favour-

ite season through art. They also spoke a few

lines about the same.

11.03.17 Logical Reasoning The children showed their mathematical skills

in the event based on concepts done in the

Math classes.

The students thoroughly enjoyed the race orga-

nized for them on 7.1.17. They participated en-

thusiastically and it was fun to see them en-

couraging their friends and classmates.

Students listened to & answered questions based on a

passage narrated in class.

14.02.17 Hindi Extempore The students drew pictures and spoke about the spring

season.

25.03.17 Fun with GK The students enjoyed answering general knowledge

questions in a worksheet.

14.02.17 Drawing Event Students of Classes III & IV participated in a draw-

ing event which had ‘Spring’ as its theme.

14.02.17 Word Power The students of Class V had the first round of Word

Power to reinforce their English vocabulary.

22.02.17 Public Speaking Students of Class III talked about an invention and

the scientist behind the same as part of the public

speaking event ‘Scientists and their Inventions.’

22.02.17 Word Power Finals The final round of ‘Word Power’ for Class V was held

which was conducted by the students of Class IV.

Students of class IV took part in a Public

Speaking cum Demonstration Event on

28.02.17 to commemorate National Sci-

ence Day. The little scientists carried out

very simple experiments and explained the

scientific principles in front of their class-

mates. The students thoroughly enjoyed

this interesting event.

CELEBRATIONS IN SCHOOL

Republic Day was celebrated by the students with zeal and enthusiasm.

Students of Class III took part in a Patriotic Poem Recitation event.

Class IV children came dressed up as freedom fighters and proudly spoke

about them. Class V children emulated their favourite current iconic

leaders. The school corridors came alive with the children dressed up as

Bhagat Singh, Queen of Jhansi to current leaders like Sushma Swaraj

and even the business icon Indra Nooyi and many more. The event was

truly enjoyed by our Shishyans.

The most important woman in a child’s life is his/her mother or a moth-

er figure. Students of Classes II—V learnt and presented a beautiful

song ‘Maa to akhir maa hoti hai’ in a special assembly under the

guidance of their music educator Mr. Jamdaar. Students of classes III -

V even read out their personal wishes through poems and letters writ-

ten in the honour of their mother/mother figure.

school at the Junior Science Congress held

at Pragya Girls School. They made us all proud

by winning the competition .


Fieldtrips and Outings

The school planned fieldtrips and outings for all our little

Shishyans. The students of Senior KG , Class I and Class II went

to Nakhrali Dhaani while the children of Classes III & IV en-

joyed their outing at Safari Activity Park. Class V too had their

overnight camp at Safari Activity Park. The Shishyans enjoyed

their day out with their friends and educators.

THE WORLD OF SPORTS


Shishyan Paridhi Choudhary has won the first ever in-

dividual champion title at the CBSE National Badmin-

ton Tournament held at Sunbeam School, Varanasi.

Inter School

Event

The young dancers from Sr. KG participated in an interschool

Western Dance Competition held at Choithram School, North

Campus. The following children comprised the dance group.
