TERM 4 ISSUE 2 24th October 2019

Waterwise Visit

Students in Kindergarten to Year 2 experienced a performance called “Water for Life” by The Toads on Tuesday this week. They learnt about the Coffs Harbour drinking water supply and how to avoid wasting our precious water.

Students had the opportunity to join in the singing and dancing with the colourful characters from The Toads.

The theme for National Water Week this year is “It’s time to change the world”. We all need to work towards a world where everyone will have access to safe and clean water.

School Canteen Volunteers

Our school canteen is in urgent need of volunteers to assist Kylie with food preparation and serving the students of our school. If you are able to give some time to help support your children it would be wonderful.

The school canteen is a positive way to be involved with your school. It’s also a great opportunity to meet and interact with Woolgoolga Public School’s students, staff, parents and caregivers.

Most importantly, by volunteering to help, it will assist our P&C to continue to provide nutritious food to our students in accordance with the School Canteen Guidelines, as set out by the NSW Department of Education.
