Suggesting and approving topics
At the beginning of the school year,
teachers submit their suggestions with topics of Experiential Actions
– in written as well as electronic form –
to the Councilor of Educational Responsibility.
Preparation
Students:
- are informed about the suggested topics.
- can choose 2 of the suggested topics and then state their 1st and 2nd topic preferences to the school.
The school headmaster undertakes:
- to form groups of 16-20 students per class
- to establish a “zone of Experiential Actions” in the weekly school timetable.
What is “School Social Life”?
“School Social Life” is a school subject:
that includes experiential actions and activities carried out by the students in their classes.
that prepares students for their life inside and outside school.
By attending School Social Life students are given the opportunity:
to acquire social skills and knowledge that are necessary for their life and coexistence in a team.
to develop skills, behaviour, attitudes and values that will help them learn, create relations, solve problems and deal with conflicts in their everyday life.
to adjust to changes. to live in harmony with other people. to communicate.
to protect and take care of themselves.
