SCG didirikan pada tahun 1913 di Thailand setelah lahirnya Dekrit Kerajaan Yang Mulia Raja Rama VI untuk memproduksi semen, bahan bangunan utama untuk pembangunan infrastruktur yang sangat penting bagi kemajuan negara saat itu.
Sejak awal didirikan, SCG telah tumbuh dan berkembang hingga merambah ke berbagai bidang dengan tiga unit bisnis utama, yaitu SCG Cement – Building Materials, SCG Chemicals, dan SCG Packaging.
Dengan total lebih dari 200 perusahaan dan 52.500 karyawan, SCG menciptakan dan mendistribusikan produk-produk dan layanan yang inovatif untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen saat ini dan masa yang akan datang.

SCGOverview
The company was originally established in 1986 under the name PT. KADAR BUMI PERSADA with specialty manufacturer of concrete pipe with Vertical Cast simple technology. In 1998, Rocla Industries Limited (Australia) took over the company. The Changes brought about by Rocla are to introduce a technology called Spun Roller System (a technique of making a strong pipe with thinner walls). This technology has been licensed by more than 30 countries in the world and continuously developed for over 80 years.
In 2003, PT. Rocla Persada Indonesia was acquired by Boral Ltd., the largest company in Australia with the products specialized in building materials. The change of name from PT. Rocla Persada Indonesia to PT. Boral Pipe and Precast Indonesia has just occurred in 2006 and was followed by the construction of the second plant in Surabaya.
In the year of 2012, SCG Cement as the largest construction material company from Thailand who wants to spread their wings in Indonesia toke over the company. Since our company was officially a part of SCG Cement, we changed the name to PT. SCG Pipe and Precast Indonesia (SPPI). With significant investment, PT SCG Pipe and Precast Indonesia continues to improve the quality and reliability of international standardized quality of concrete products.
Perusahaan ini didirikan pada tahun 1986, sebagai PT Kadar Bumi Persada, pembuat pipa beton dengan teknologi sederhana yaitu Vertical Cast. Di tahun 1998, Rocla Industri Limited (Australia) mengambil alih dan Rocla memperkenalkan suatu teknologi yang disebut Sistem Spun Roller (teknik pembuatan pipa dengan dinding yang kuat tetapi lebih tipis). Teknologi ini telah mendapat lisensi lebih dari 30 Negara di dunia dan terus menerus dikembangkan selama lebih dari 80 tahun.
Pada tahun 2003, PT. Rocla Persada Indonesia diakuisisi oleh Boral Ltd yang merupakan perusahaan terbesar di Australia yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan bahan bangunan. Setelah perubahan nama pada tahun 2006, dari PT. Rocla Persada Indonesia menjadi PT. Boral Pipe and Precast Indonesia, dibangunlah pabrik ke 2 di Surabaya.
Pada tahun 2012, SCG Cement, sebuah perusahaan material konstruksi terbesar dari Thailand yang sedang mengembangkan sayapnya di Indonesia, mengambil alih perusahaan dan secara resmi berganti nama menjadi PT SCG Pipe and Precast Indonesia. Dengan Investasi yang signifikan, PT SCG Pipe and Precast Indonesia terus meningkatkan kualitas dan keandalan dari produk beton berstandard Internasional.

PT. SCG Pipe and Precast indonesia Quality Management System, accredited to ISO 9001:2008, ensures Customers receive products and service to meet the needs of the job and the construction program.
The system in each Factory provides a quality assurance program, which is managed and recorded. Inspection and testing of the finished pipe ensures a product designed and manufactured for the intended installation. This means there is minimum risk of job delays.
Moreover, Environmental Management System accredited to ISO 14001:2008 ensure that our production process won’t harm the environment, waste form our production process managed and processed with environmental friendly.
Sistem Pengelolaan Mutu PT. SCG Pipe and Precast Indonesia yang mengacu kepada ISO 9001:2008, menjamin pelanggan mendapatkan produk dan pelayanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta jenis konstruksi yang diinginkan. Sistem di setiap Pabrik memberikan program jaminan mutu yang dikelola dan dicatat. Inspeksi dan pengujian terhadap produk yang telah selesai diproduksi menjamin ketepatan desain diproduksi sesuai dengan pemasangan yang diinginkan. Hal ini berarti mengurangi resiko keterlambatan kerja.
Selain itu, sistem pengelolaan lingkungan yang mengacu kepada ISO 14001:2004 menjamin proses produksi yang dijalankan tidak akan merusak lingkungan sekitar. Limbah dari proses produksi dikelola dan diolah secara ramah lingkungan.

Precise Machine from Schl�sselbauer (Precise: the most versatile production machine for shaped versatile) is a high technology machine that come from Austria, this machine has a high production effectiveness, full automatic, with 'automatic quick mold change system' which allows the replacement of mold quickly and can cast 2 pipes at once. This high speed machine can produce pipes more fast with good quality and precision so it can fulfill customer’s needs and expectation.
