Customers receive a set number of Planning Services days based on the type and number of qualified Software Assurance licenses they have. Planning Services days are pooled and can be used on any of the Planning Services offerings regardless of the products purchased. The number of service days varies by the type and number of licenses they have with Software Assurance, and can be used for planning engagements ranging from 3 to 15 days in length. Your customer can find out how many Planning Services days they have by visiting the Volume Licensing Service Center.
