Peregrinos vendrán durante todo el año para atravesar la puerta Santa, Participar en la Santa Misa y Orar por las intenciones del
Santo Padre. Es un año de gracia para ganar indulgencias.
Sacred Heart-Guadalupe Church
has been chosen to be one of the 6 Pilgrim Sites in The Diocese.
Pilgrims will come throughout the year to pass into the Holy Door, participate in the Holy celebration of mass, and
to pray for the intentions of The Holy Father. It is a year of grace to obtain indulgences.

REVERSING THE BABEL EFFECT
El Espíritu Santo viene como el viento y el fuego: de repente, ar-rasándolo todo, cambiando la faz de la tierra para siempre, tocan-do nuestras heridas y nuestros corazones. El Espíritu nos hace una sola familia: “herederos de Dios, coherederos con Cristo, compartiendo su sufrimiento para poder compartir su gloria”. El Espíritu nos hace familia de Dios. El Espíritu nos une y cambia el efecto de Babel para que todos podamos hablar de las maravillas de Dios en nuestra propia lengua. Queremos dar testimonio de la Trinidad que vive en nosotros para la salvación de todos.
The Holy Spirit comes like wind and fire—sudden, sweeping all before, changing forever, and touching profoundly our wounds, our hearts, our selves. The Spirit makes us God’s family: “heirs of God, coheirs with the Christ, sharing in his sufferings so as to share in his glory.” The Spirit unites us, reversing the Babel effect, so that we may all speak of the marvels of God in our own language. We want to give witness to the Trinity’s life in us for the salvation of all.
