Christmas Call to Sharing 2019 We can’t fully practice our Catholic faith without the life and

ministry of priests. You should have received an invitation to consider a gift to the Christmas Call to Sharing - a gift of gratitude to support retired priests and the education of seminarians. God has blessed us this year with 36 men in the seminary and continues to bless us with so many retired priests who serve the Church in many ways. I would ask that you be as generous as you possible can be at this most holy time of year.

ADVENT GIVING TREE Christmas angels needed!! Please visit our Advent Giving Tree in the vestibule of the Church and take advantage of this opportunity to support Birthline in their efforts to meet the needs of those in a crisis pregnancy. Simply pick up a tree ornament requesting baby items such as diapers, wipes, blankets, clothing and formula. Baby items (unwrapped) can then be returned and placed under the tree. St. Pat’s Pro-Life Network will deliver the items to Birthline. Thank you and God bless you for being a Christmas angel!!!

Llamada Navideña a Compartir 2019 No podemos practicar plenamente nuestra fe católica sin la vida

y el ministerio de los sacerdotes. Debería haber recibido una invitación para considerar un regalo para la Llamada de Navidad para compartir, un regalo de gratitud para apoyar sacerdotes jubilados y la educación de seminaristas. Dios nos ha bendecido este año con 36 hombres en el seminario y continúa bendiciéndonos con tantos sacerdotes jubilados que sirven a la Iglesia de muchas maneras. Le pediría que sea lo más generoso posible en esta época sagrada del año.

ARBOLITO DE ADVIENTO ¡¡¡Se buscan angelitos navideños!!! Por favor pasen por el Arbolito de Adviento en el vestíbulo de la Iglesia y aprovechen la oportunidad de apoyar a Birthline por sus esfuerzos de cumplir con las necesidades de aquellos en crisis de embarazo. Simplemente recojan un arreglo del arbolito donde viene nombrado el articulo de bebe que se necesita como pañales, toallitas mojadas (wipes), cobijitas, ropa, leche (formula). Los artículos deben ser puestos debajo del arbolito sin envolver. La Red de Pro-Vida entregaran los artículos a Birthline. Gracias y Dios los bendiga por ser un angelito navideño.

Stewardship Renewal THANK YOU to all the families who turned in their Stewardship Renewal packets last week. If you have not yet turned in your packets we ask you to please turn it in the office as soon as possible. Let’s face it…John the Baptist was weird. His clothing was strange, his diet was strange, and his message was strange. If there is one thing we can learn about discipleship from John the Baptist, it is this: conformity is not an option. Yet odd as he was, people from “the whole region around the Jordan” were flocking to him for baptism. The people were enthralled with this strange man and his message of repentance. John the Baptist had a knack for speaking the truth, and this became the purpose of his life. As we reflect on our own stewardship, we have to ask what gifts we have been blessed with. Are we using those gifts to glorify God, no matter how “weird” it makes us feel? Are we using those gifts to “Produce good fruit as evidence of [our] repentance”? Like John the Baptist, we have been EMPOWERED by the Holy Spirit and are called to share message of repentance with all who will hear. There is no better time than Advent to work for the conversion of hearts! What are you waiting for?

Seamos realistas ... Juan el Bautista era raro. Su vestimenta era extraña, su dieta era extraña y su mensaje era extraño. Si hay algo que podemos aprender sobre el discipulado de Juan el Bautista, es esto: la conformidad no es una opción. Sin embargo, por extraño que fuera, la gente de "toda la región alrededor del Jordán" acudía en masa a él para bautizarse. La gente quedó cautivada con este hombre extraño y su mensaje de arrepentimiento. Juan el Bautista tenía una habilidad especial para decir la verdad, y este se convirtió en el propósito de su vida. A medida que reflexionamos sobre nuestra propia mayordomía, tenemos que preguntarnos con qué dones hemos sido bendecidos. ¿Estamos usando esos dones para glorificar a Dios, no importa cuán "extraño" nos haga sentir? ¿Estamos usando esos dones para “Producir buenos frutos como evidencia de [nuestro] arrepentimiento”? Como Juan el Bautista, hemos estado POTENCIADOS por el Espíritu Santo y están llamados a compartir mensaje de arrepentimiento con todos los que escuchen. ¡No hay mejor momento que Adviento para trabajar por la conversión de los corazones! ¿Que estas

Dispensary Assistant, Guadalupe Clinic: The Guadalupe Clinic is seeking an outstanding individual to serve as Dispensary Assistant. This individual will complete tasks assigned in relation to medications being dispensed to patients in support of medical providers and nursing staff. This position is full-time 30-40 hours per week and reports to the Director of Nursing.
