Be advised that the church bell located at the entrance will be ringing once again on a regu-lar basis. Given to St. Patrick’s as a gift from Immaculate Conception Church back in 1985, the bell had been silenced due to it’s degree of loudness. But popular demand has brought about a change of policy. Beginning in July, the bell will ring seven times to signify the start of Mass. This means that if you are running late and cutting it close, you might want to avoid walking directly under the bell as you enter the church. The bell will be programmed to ring at 5pm on Saturday’s, 9am on Sunday, 11am on Sunday, and it will ring at the noon

hour during the weekday’s. It will also be useable manually at funerals and possibly weddings. But having tested it myself, I want to warn you about being directly underneath the bell as it is about to ring. It has quite an impact, to say the least. Anyway, God bless and consider yourselves forewarned. ~ Fr. Greg

. . . When you support Love INC, your resources are going towards helping your local neighbors in need. Re-

cently we had the opportunity to help an elderly couple in our community whose hot water heater had bro-ken down. Living on a fixed income, they were not prepared to encounter such a cost. With the help of our local churches, Love INC was able to partner with the Commission on Aging and The Father Fred Founda-tion to help them purchase and install a new water heater. If you would like to know more about Love INC and how you may support or participate in the ministry please contact us at 709-7443, or you can call Love INC directly at 941-5683. Thanks, Sean and Darlene

As we enter the second month of our ministry fair informative period, evidence of God’s continuing guidance and blessings are visible within St. Patrick parish. Interests are being piqued and parishioners are asking questions about our many ministries. We thank Sherrie Clutts for her presentation last weekend concerning Adult Faith Formation, Sacramental Prep and Weekly Faith Formation. This weekend, Paul Lezon spoke about a behind-the-scenes ministry -- Vestments & Linens. The following summary is for your reference as you continue to pray about “Being the hands and feet of Jesus.” Your questions, comments, suggestions and prayers are very important during this process.

Please call Mary Schaub (231 313-0174) or Peggy Godin (231 620-6632).
