An apparently extinct human being reports on heights and flaws. Expectations and prospects are similar in dreams but may differ quite significantly in reality. Your expecta- tions concerning this article might be high, but the out- look remains definitely unclear. Your high expectations concerning this Forum have probably been justified, with the newly forged Com- mittee on Human Rights guaranteeing a great prospect within ten minutes of starting Teambuilding. Let me give you an excellent example. It took Caro – due to a temporary physical handi- cap which caused a belated arrival – less than 30 seconds to become an active part of your plans for the Open Stage, with her being allocated the highly important task of operating the flute. Immediately afterwards, you succeeded in the first trust game, each of you putting your trust in the twenty finger- tips of your fellow DROI Delegates to lift you. Jari‘s Tale is one of those things I would never have expected to take place. You hardly knew your Com- mittee Members’ countries of origin but already uni- tedly declaring the Forum President insane, further elaborating why he shall yet be considered innocent. This judgement should naturally not be taken as a truth in all its aspects, but I admire the high level of co-operation you reached at this early stage. I dare to call it truly extraordinary. Personally, I am definitely falling short of fulfilling your expectations when it comes to the amount of time I spent with your Committee so far. I can merely promise you to try harder. The little I saw from Committee Work 1 intrigued me though. When entering the Committee Room, one was not able to feel the typically tense atmosphere but a silent climate of listening, responding and working together with focus. Still, DROI initially was not able to exactly answer the question of who it was that should carry out those solutions which the Committee Mem- bers were eager to develop, and this uncertainty even entered the reso- lution. An impressive ‘fact’ sheet and a solid defense opened your way through GA, but language barriers, both in the field of immigration as well as practically for the Committee, lacking a French speaker, during General Assembly itself were a small challenge. A Personalised Leaflet for DROI from the Press Room Rightfully Yours, DROI.

An apparently extinct humanbeing reports on heights and flaws.

Expectations and prospects are similar in dreams but may differ quite significantly in reality. Your expecta-tions concerning this article might be high, but the out-look remains definitely unclear.

Your high expectations concerning this Forum have probably been justified, with the newly forged Com-mittee on Human Rights guaranteeing a great prospect within ten minutes of starting Teambuilding. Let me give you an excellent example.

It took Caro – due to a temporary physical handi-cap which caused a belated arrival – less than 30 seconds to become an active part of your plans for the Open Stage, with her being allocated the highly important task of operating the flute. Immediately afterwards, you succeeded in the first trust game, each of you putting your trust in the twenty finger-tips of your fellow DROI Delegates to lift you.

Jari‘s Tale is one of those things I would never have expected to take place. You hardly knew your Com-mittee Members’ countries of origin but already uni-tedly declaring the Forum President insane, further elaborating why he shall yet be considered innocent.

Still, DROI initially was not able to exactly answer the question of who it was that should carry out those solutions which the Committee Mem-bers were eager to develop, and this uncertainty even entered the reso-lution. An impressive ‘fact’ sheet and a solid defense opened your way through GA, but language barriers, both in the field of immigration as well as practically for the Committee, lacking a French speaker, during General Assembly itself were a small challenge.

Rightfully Yours, DROI.

The outcome of the voting on your resolution however could be foreseen during the debate, though I had not expected only five votes against and four abstentions. Congratulations to the Committee which got the highest endorsement rate by far.

I guess all of you were looking for-ward to a proper meal after General Assembly, and that the Committee Dinner venue consequently fell far short of your expectations. However, dinner did offer us the chance to chat about any awkward or funny experi-ence from former Sessions.

As DROI shared the venue with EMPL, the Committee Members were able to shame and even humiliate the antagonist Chairperson by dra-wing EMPL delegates to our table, in spite of Richard’s helpless att-empts to compensate a blatant lack of aesthetic qualities when compa-red to Sandra.

Finally this occasion was an opportunity to find out a bit more about your Chair. In case you ever feel like becoming a migrant yourself, Sandra knows ways to get a citizenship of Montenegro.

The real highlight took place when we left to return to the hostel: a walk with the par-ticular difficulties of keeping some candles burning and the lovely birthday celebrations for Caro. You made amazing arrangements which I had never seen at an EYP event be-fore; candles and cake, even champagne gi-ven by Magdalena from EMPL

I had no concrete ideas on or expectations for the first Committee I would be allocated as a Journalist before I met you nice bunch of people but you have set a high benchmark for the future. I am very grateful for having spent this short time with you and can only feel sorry for it not having been more.
