Vacation Sick Leave Job Description Job Description: Conductor Trainees operate track switches, couple cars and work on freight trains in yard operations and on the road with extensive travel. You must occasionally be able to lift 80 lbs., as required when replacing knuckles that connect rail cars. This involves strenuous, outside work in all weather conditions and requires extensive travel. The conductor trainee operates track switches by moving a lever that moves sections of track to properly place railcars, couples cars, and works assembling freight trains in rail yard operations performing various duties involving moving and aligning various parts of rail equipment to create or build trains. You must be able to perform several tasks safely that will require pulling, controlling and maneuvering onto and off of equipment. TRAINING: Will consist of sufficient class and field training to enable the freight service trainee to become a qualified Conductor/Trainman. Field experience will include training with yard, local, and through freight crews. Upon successful completion of the training and required written exams, the employee will be a qualified conductor. PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Applications for employment may be rejected within sixty (60) calendar days after an employee establishes a seniority date. Employees establish a seniority date on the date they first perform compensated service as a Conductor/Trainman following the initial training. ADVANCEMENT: Presently Conductors are required to accept mandatory promotion to Locomotive Engineer and attend Locomotive Engineer Training (LET). This can occur at any point after one (1) year of train service experience. LET lasts approximately 1 month at the Norfolk Southern Corporate Training Facility in McDonough, Georgia and approximately 5 to 6 months in the field. Total training normally lasts 6 to 7 months. HOURS: Employees are required to work on-call, on an as needed basis, from an extra board. Employees are expected to be available to work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in all weather conditions. Work schedules are irregular and are determined by the rotation of the extra board. Employees must have a telephone in order to be contacted for work. Most employees purchase a cellular phone to be called for work. Employees in train service are subject to extensive travel requirements for the job and must be able to be away from home on a constant basis, depending upon the needs of the extra board. Employees normally will have 1-2 hours from the time of call to report to work. Extra board employees can expect to work mostly nights, weekends, and holidays. Employees are not guaranteed a forty-hour work week, but are paid for the time spent performing train service. Mandatory rest periods under the Hours of Service regulations are required. New hires work from the extra board until they acquire sufficient seniority to be awarded a regularly scheduled position. UNION MEMBERSHIP: All employees will be required to join either the Train service union or Engineer's union within 60 days of establishing a seniority date.

They travel system-wide, depending upon the assignments and current corporate needs, installing the NS signal system. Construction gang employees typically travel on Sundays to the work site to start the workweek early Monday mornings. The workweek may be comprised of four 10-hour days, although they can extend longer. The work of a signal construction gang is physical, demanding work. It requires work in all types of weather, in all elements. On site, most of the work involves construction-type work including hand digging with shovel and pick. Signal systems are installed in the same areas as underground fiber optic cables; extreme care needs to be taken during construction. Employee is responsible for providing own transportation from their home to the lodging at the work location. NS pays the cost of hotel rooms and also provides a per diem stipend and meal allowance as governed by the union agreement. Requirements include the ability to obtain a Class-A Commercial Drivers License within 90 days of employment. Electrical experience and/or educational training in electronics are also preferred. It is advised that the successful applicant, when called to begin the process, should go ahead and begin the process of obtaining the learner's permit for the CDL so that when they exit the Signal school, they will be able to drive with a licensed driver immediately. We will assist you in obtaining the CDL by providing the vehicle and giving you the opportunity to drive. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET THE CDL. Successful candidates complete a three week training course at our training center in McDonough, GA. NS covers mileage allowance for those employees who choose to drive their personal vehicle, room and board. After the first training installment, candidates have 90 days to qualify on the job, as per the union contract. Upon

Position Summary:

Clinic Manager (CM) is a clinical and business leader with management responsibility for

assigned clinics. Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall operations in the clinic(s) with the

priorities of developing and coaching providers and support staff for career growth and high

performance, supervising colleagues to ensure quality care and patient engagement metrics are

achieved, and driving financial results and profitability. The Clinic Manager will focus on

assessing educational/training needs and practice development while committing to work in the

clinics regularly as a staff Provider. The Clinic Manager is an experienced clinical leader with

exceptional communication and management skills who is committed to the highest level of

patient care and business success. The Clinic Manager will partner with the Market Manager

along with Walgreens Store Manager and Community Leader to drive patient volume and

financial performance.

Clinic Operation Excellence:

Recruitment/Selection

* The CM will analyze the patient volume and scheduling needs to determine need for additional

HCT s or Providers.

* CM directs Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) on postings and clinic requirements needed (ie.;

schedule requirements, hour requirements, clinic pairing, etc )

o CM conducts interviews, makes selection decision and employment offers

* CM works with Market Educator to determine educational needs of new hires and assist in

market orientation.

Ongoing Education & Staff Development

* Identify clinical competency gaps with providers and identify the training needed to bridge

competency gap by working with Market educator (ME) to create a developmental plan. CM and

for operational metrics (i.e. Healthstream, HEDIS, etc ) Deliver counseling or other discipline to

colleagues who fail to complete compliance requirements.

* CM will approve provider continuing education to enhance provider educational development.

* Responsible for the administration of the Performance, Development and Coaching (PDC)

process in order to identify developmental needs of staff . Based on evaluation of the colleague,

CM is responsible to create and deliver action plan for behavioral/competency improvements.

* CM is responsible for the ongoing development of staff by:

o Offering guidance on setting goals

o Approval of provider and support staff goals,

o Monitoring goal attainment,

o Ongoing provider and support staff development and coaching meetings,

o Completion of mid-year and year-end reviews,

o Assignment of overall colleague evaluation rating.

* Responsible for supervised clinics to develop and attain colleague engagement market action

plans.

Supervision

* CM is responsible for the direct supervision of support staff and providers in one to two clinics

(approx. 6-8 direct reports)CM administers corrective action under the progressive corrective

action process.

* The CM decides what level of corrective action is to be issued

* CM identifies, develops and manages colleagues on performance action plans

* Has hire/fire authority with proper consultation with market leadership and HR.

* CM makes final decision on PTO approval for colleague conflicts

Financial Profitability/Practice Development:

* Market the clinic to internal and external customers and patients

* Develop relationships with WAG counterparts to support clinic attainment of budget goals

* Drive accountability for both financial commitment and awareness of the clinic and the clinic

* Accountable for the Patient Engagement of the clinics they supervise

* CM is responsible to keep WAG partners informed of clinic updates, i.e.; New Service

Offerings, special clinical offers to patients, changes to staff, etc .

* CM will partner with Walgreens Store Manager, Community Leader and Market Manager to

develop action plans to drive patient volume and clinic metrics

* Participate in market calls, Walgreens meetings, and market meetings or other meetings as

needed

* Take call as per call rotation

* Manage two clinics to the company approved staffing metrics to ensure operational budget

compliance.

* Manages clinic supplies to remain in budget.

* Responsible to monitor rotational schedules of supervised clinics and communicating any

needs to scheduler and market (i.e. ensure shifts are filled)

* Responsible to make decisions on staffing needs related to clinic volume, promotions, and

fiscal responsibility

* Responsible to keep their clinics open all hours of operation, Work with scheduler to ensure

that daily clinic staffing is maintained and make determination if schedules need to be altered.

* Responsible to understand clinic patient volume metrics and drive attainment of P&L metrics

for supervised clinics.

Clinical Excellence and Quality:

* Ensures clinic compliance to all clinic standard operating procedures, adherence to scope of

practice, clinic cleanliness and appearance standards.

* Ensures clinic compliance to Infection Control, QA, OSHA, and CLIA standards. , Escalates

issues to appropriate levels as needed.

* Responsible for identifying quality issues in supervised clinics and working with quality

department and Market Mangers to resolve those issues.

* Ensure consistency and adherence to clinical and operational policies in supervised clinics.

* Ensures that supervised clinics are meeting standards that are set forth by JCAHO as part of

accreditation process.

* Support marketing and sales initiatives and activities as needed
