Rain ProcessRain is the time when the water fall down to
the earth. Rain usually comes when the people can see the dark cloud in the sky. Rain is formed from water vapor in the surrounding atmosphere. Water vapor forms when the heat of the sun evaporates water from oceans and other bodies of water on earth, including plants through transpiration. The warm and moist air cools down as it rises into the atmosphere. This reduces the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere can hold.
When the temperature drops below the dew point, some of the water vapor condenses into water vapor, forming clouds. Water droplets form on tiny particles called condensation nuclei, which are made up of dust, salt from ocean spray and chemicals given off by industrial plants and vehicles. During the formation of water vapor, heat is liberated, warming the clouds. This allows the clouds to rise higher and eventually become cooler again. In short, the rain process started by evaporation and transpiration, condensation, and last the rain fall to the earth that called as precipitation.

Introduction
Rain ProcessListening
Listening Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.
Evapotranspiration is water transpired from plants and evaporated from the soil. Rising air currents take the vapor up into the atmosphere where cooler temperatures cause it to condense into clouds. Air currents move water vapor around the globe, cloud particles collide, grow, and fall out of the sky as precipitation. Some precipitation falls as snow or hail, sleet, and can accumulate as ice caps and glaciers, which can store frozen water for thousands of years. Snowpacks can thaw and melt and the melted water flows over land as snowmelt. Most water falls back into the oceans or onto land as rain.

A “mini-tornado” coupled with a hail storm hit some
areas in South Bandung on Wednesday afternoon for
approximately 30 minutes.
The weather panicked residents as hail stones
penetrated corrugated iron rooftops. The wind swirled
things around while hail stones made thudding sounds
on our roof. Residents reported that the authorities had
shut down the electricity in the area to prevent short
circuits
“There was no sign of rain. All of a sudden, we saw
dark clouds above followed by strong winds.
Afterwards, it rained hard with hail stones,” said a
resident.

Rain ProcessReading
Reading
Solar energy evaporates exposed water from seas, lakes, rivers, and wet soil; the majority of this evaporation takes place over
the seas. Water is also released into the atmosphere by the plants through photosynthesis. During this process, known as evapotranspiration, water vapour rises into the atmosphere.
Clouds form when air becomes saturated with water vapour. The two major types of cloud formation are stratified or layered grey
clouds called stratus and billowing white or dark grey cloud called cumulus clouds. Precipitation as rain, or hail ensures that
water returns to Earth’s surface in a fresh form. Some of this rain, however, falls into the seas and is not accessible to humans.
When rain falls, it either washes down hill slopes or seeps underground; when snow and hail melts, this water may also
sink into the ground. Rain fall also replenishes river water supplies, as does underground water. Snow fall may consolidate into glaciers and ice sheets which, when they melt, release their
water into the ground, into stream or into the seas.

One Christmas in 2007, I was joining a final test try out at school. It was held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. One of my schoolmates, Rini,
asked me for accompanying her to the bus stop. When we arrived there, suddenly the heavy rain fell down from the sky.
Rini suggested me to go home soon while she was entering the bus.
The next day, Purwodadi had become a flood area. All activities were paralyzed. No one went for work or school because the land had been covered by flood. However, I thank God for not
allowing the flood entered my house. Even my house had been changed into an emergency kitchen. It was so crowded there. I
and my father took a walk around the center market and Central Purwodadi. All that we could see was water and water. At night, the flood looked like a beautiful ocean with the moonlight on it. I felt as if I was one of the passengers of Titanic who was sailing
on the sea.
