● Ability to perform data collection tasks and report to a variety of end users using a variety of information systems.

● Knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Uniform Guidance and other federal regulations.

Essential FunctionsKey Responsibilities

60% of Time the Research Administration Coordinator must:

● Regulatory Compliance - Read, interpret and apply federal, state and University policies and procedures to application for and utilization of grant funds to ensure compliance in highly regulated work environment.

● Financial/Budget - establish, update and report expense to budget status on deadline and on interim basis as requested. Perform payroll functions as needed. Facilitate audits as required.

● Reporting - prepare a variety of formal written and numerical reports for University research community, sponsors and the public on deadline and on interim basis as requested.

● Presentation - Orally present pre- and post-award information to University community,

sponsors and the public to promote research opportunities and activities.

35% of Time the Research Administration Coordinator

Work Environment and Physical DemandsSome positions may involve frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; some positions may involve moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 70 pounds; standing up to eight hours each day; working in all weather conditions; exposure to high noise levels and require wearing hearing protection.
