Everything and Everybody will be evaluated, reviewed and rated.

Choosing a Realtor will be influenced greatly by popularity, ratings, scores and reviews found on the “Intelligent Internet”.

THE TREND IS EMERGING

We have already become accustomed to reviews for things like cars, travel destinations (through websites like Trip Advisor), and for many consumer products.

More recent rating websites and smart phone applications are rating local restaurants and businesses.

The trend is moving directly to user reviews and ratings of individual service providers, - your local barber, dentist and REAL ESTATE AGENT.

WHAT THE CEO OF YELP SAYS:

“I think we live in a new age of transparency, which is a great thing if you’re fantastic at customer service. Customer service is the new marketing” ~ Jeremy Stoppelman, CEO of Yelp

THE ACTIVE RAIN POST THAT GOT MY ATTENTIONJon Washburn, of Active Rain Corp posted a

blog on January 19th, 2011 that gave voice to thoughts already swirling in my head. The content of this presentation was directly inspired from his blog.

Do a “Google “ or “Active Rain” search for “ Reputation Architecture: How to multiply the effects of “Remarkable Service” – to read Jon’s full blog post.

Jon drove it home with that post. Attention all Realtors. Take note - Be sure to “straighten up your house” and “get yourself noticed”.
