Thanks to your decision for the REIF■ WoodLinkwood connection system, you have decided to use a proven and extremely durable system. Wood is a natural product that has a life of its own. It is therefore very important, before starting to lay the boards, that the conditions are optimally prepared and that laying is carefully implemented. We have summarised what you need to pay attention to during preparation and how to proceed during laying in the following instal-lation manual.

The essential requirement for a durable wooden decking is the cor-rect wood moisture. You must obtain information about this point from your wood retailer. Don't worry, the manual is much easier than it looks. Take the time to read the manual carefully; you will more than gain back the time you needed to read it.

We wish you all the best during your installation and many years of pleasure in your new wooden decking.

Installation manual JUSTY laying and fixing deviceThe multi-functional REIF■ WoodLink laying and fixing device JUSTY is a tool specially developed for flexible use when laying decking boards made of all standard soft wood species. The JUSTY is also ideally suited for prefixing boards using invisible fastening systems and conventional board screw connections.

The following must be checked as an essential requirement for a durable wooden decking:

■ Particularly important! The correct wood moisture (this

information must be obtained from your wood retailer). The use of a moisture measuring device is recommended. (Fig. 1) ■ Ensure that the wood properties are correct

(e.g. sapwood, cracks, resin bleed, spiral grain, etc.)

Preparation

■ Measure the board width and adjust the device as shown below while closed: (Fig. 2)- Release the spindle lock- Set the clamping range by rotating the pressure plate (1 rotation = 2 mm)

- Fix the setting manually with the spindle lock■ When laying the first board: 2 x board width + 5 mm.■ When laying the last board: 2 x board width + 10 mm.

■ Measure the board width and adjust the device as shown below while closed: (Fig. 2)- Release the spindle lock- Set the clamping range by rotating

the pressure plate (1 rotation = 2 mm)- Fix the setting manually with the spindle lock■ 2 x board width + 10 mm.

■ Measure the board width and adjust the device as shown below while closed: (Fig. 3)- Release the spindle lock- Set the clamping range by rotating the pressure plate (1 rotation = 2 mm)- Fix the setting manually with the spindle lock■ 2 x board width + 5 mm.■ Adjust manually by rotating the pressure plate (1 rotation= approx. 2 mm)■ Lay the device on a previously fastened board. (Fig. 4)■ Position the stop bracket and the pressure plate longitudinally to the substructure.■ Ensure that the stop bracket is se-

curely fastened behind the previously fastened board. (Fig. 5)■ Fix the board temporarily in place by pushing the clamping lever down to the stop. (Fig. 4)■ Insert the SLOT groove fastener into the existing groove and fasten to the substructure using TX screws. (Fig. 6)■ Release the clamping lever and lift the device up vertically.

laying a Uni/eVO board fastener

■ Ensure that the stop bracket is securely fastened behind the previ-ously fastened board. (Fig. 7)■ Position the spacer clip on the other side of the previously fastened board. (Fig. 8)■ Position the stop bracket and pres-sure plate so that the contact lug of the pressure plate lies longitudinally on the substructure. (Fig. 9)■ Fix the board temporarily in place by pushing the clamping lever down to the stop. ■ Use the positioning aid to mark the board, then drill, countersink and fix in place. (Fig. 10/11)■ Release the clamping lever and lift the device up vertically. 10 11
