Rainy Day Activities For Kids
Don’t let a little rain keep your kids parked on the couch all day. Try one of these rainy day activities to
keep things fun.
Make Cookies
There are lots of simple recipes that you and the kids can make. Some of them don’t even require baking!
For example, Stoplight Graham Cracker cookies only require graham crackers, white frosting, and M & M’s.
Mess Free Finger Painting
This activity is so easy to setup and even easier to clean up. You’ll need a large Ziploc-styled plastic bag, washable paint, duct or masking tape, and a piece of computer paper.
Put it all together and you get something like this:

Create a Rainbow
Instead of waiting for a rainbow to appear after the storm, you can create your own.
You’ll need:
Water
A room with white walls
A wide glass jar or glass
A mirror small enough to fit inside the jar
A flashlight
