Greetings Constituents of District 4,

After careful consideration and much prayer, my family and I have decided not to pursue another term

of office as Louisiana State Representative for District 4. I have dedicated more than 13 years of

unwavering service to Caddo Parish, the State of Louisiana and to the Citizens of District 4, and I am

humbled for the opportunity to serve.

During my studies and once I completed my PhD from Walden University, I have gained a greater

compassion in the efforts to help people. Working under the mission statement:

"To provide a diverse community of career professionals, the opportunity to transform

themselves as scholar-practitioners, who can effect positive social change".

Working from this perspective, my goal is to continue my efforts to assist in the growth of individuals

and government. However, my direction will allow me to expand into other professional capacities. I

will assume this order of direction until otherwise led.

I appreciate all of the support that I have received from friends, constituents and community leaders

over the years and will always make myself available to assist each of you as much and as often as I

possibly can. My prayers are continually with each of you, our community, state leaders and

Shreveport, the city I love and cherish.
