Introduction
In the midst of 2013, Overseas Pakistani Volunteers Group (OPVGR) was established by Mr. Abrar Ahmed, a Riyadh based Pakistani national, to help the Pakistani community in Riyadh to provide them social, medical and moral assistance as and when required on voluntarily basis.
Initially voluntarily blood donation service was started to the community members. Later on Distribution of new and used cloths, toys, disable walker, school bags, hand bags to the needy people in Pakistan added to the core services offered by OPVGR.
Last but not the least OPVGR pay hospital dues of needy patients, Pay orphan student`s school fees, food arrangement for needy families in Pakistan, Matrimonial service and guidance to community members in Saudi Arab regarding local laws to make them a law abiding residents.
To build a society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity and a culture of service in which all are self-reliant
To provide blood donor services to any one in need of on voluntarily basis.
To provide information regarding laws, rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia to community members.
To help needy patients for pay hospital dues .
To help pay school fees for students to continue their study.
To help Pakistanis for matrimonial.

Used stuff collection and distribution
It is an honourable matter for us that
within 6 months, we have sent
12,700kg of cargo from KSA to
various cities and villages of
Pakistan. We take special care that
only genuine needy people receive
the donations. The special thing
about our group is that every
member is from a different part of
Pakistan and has different political
views, yet we work together as one
for the betterment of Pakistan.

OPVGR volunteers Saudi
Arab are available to donate
blood 24/7. On various
occasions, we have arranged
blood for 62 patients. We have a
database of voluntary blood
donors on our website. This is
the reason that today we have
more than 800 registered blood
donors who are ready to donate
whenever need arises.
Blood Arrangement
For fresh people in KSA due to
language and other barriers, it is
quite difficult to reach the potential
employer(s). To build a bridge
between the employers and the job
seekers, OPVGR reach out to
various company offices, forward
the CV's of the job seekers. So far,
many have found jobs in their
respective field(s) i.e. Construction,
Teaching etc.
Job Hunting
Pakistani expatriates families have
many problems in finding an ideal
life partner for their children. We
have formed a separate group where
people can contact potential
proposals themselves. We also have
a matrimonial web page where you
can register. We try to inquire as
much as possible into families so
that no-one is deceived. We do this
purely for the sake of Allah.
Matrimonial Services
Saudi Arab's workforce know little
about their rights and the law, mainly
due to not knowing the Arabic
language. We provide such
information and advice on various
topics including Family Visa, Hajj
and issues related to Ministry of
Labour. We provide only lawful
guidance and do not allow any false
and unlawful advertising in our
groups/web site.
Legal Support
Expatriate families found themselves in
the middle of no where when it comes
to a family dispute. When the argument
becomes stressed, they do not have any
one to turn to, to resolve their family
disputes. Keeping this in mind, we
formed a committee consisted on our
senior members who can help in
resolving family conflicts and prevent
relationships from breaking. OPVGR
has helped many couples in finishing
their court cases and bridging their
differences to live a positive happy
family life again.
Family Disputes
There are some families who are
self-sufficient and hard workers, yet
they struggle financially
to fulfil their household needs such
as widows and divorcee's who are
providing for their children
themselves. For these people we
arrange monthly food packages
with our members. We do not pay
cash to anyone. Our generous
members buy food and donate this.
