Shortly after our December meeting we received advice from PSPL that they had decided the capitation fees for 2015-2016 and we e-mailed you a copy of the letter from PSPL President Peter Carroll advising that fees for Australian Clubs are going to be raised by $1.50 per Member to a fee of $11.50 per Member. In a covering letter I advised that PSPL are not raising capitation fees for New Zealand members and that these remain at $NZ5.50 per Member (roughly $A5.10). No reason for this differential has been given but it could have something to do with the fact that over half of the New Zealand Clubs have now defected from PSPL and have set up their own Service Centre which is charging $NZ3.00 per Member in capitation fees. I have sent a note to Mr. Carroll requesting an explanation of the cost differential between Australia and New Zealand as it appears to be very discriminatory. I have also asked for some details on the streamlining and cost cutting measures the Board claims to have put in place to redress the disastrous financial performance of PSPL. Should we receive any such details we will pass them onto you. Privacy Disclaimer The information in this document is confidential and is intended only for the use of the above members. THEATRE

The Vicar of Dibley:- Lilydale Athenaeum Theatre, Sunday 15

th March 2015 at 2pm tickets $20.00.

A comedy by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter Life in the sleepy Oxfordshire village of Dibley is turned upside-down when the ancient former reverend dies and the diocese sends a new female vicar as his replacement.

Her arrival is met with a mixture of wonder and horror from the assorted collection of rural yokels who call Dibley home. This play is a laugh from start to finish. Relive the arrival of the new Vicar, be part of the congregation for Alice's hilarious wedding, and meet again the many insane inhabitants of the quiet village of Dibley - pompous David Horton, his son Hugo, dippy verger Alice, crude farmer Owen, Leticia, Frank and dithering "no, no, no, no, yes," Jim Trott.

Please add your name to the list and pay at our January 2015 meeting.

Lois Mason & Judy Baker As I Age When I was ready to check out and pay for my groceries the cashier said, "Strip down, facing me."

Making a mental note so I could complain to the manager about this security rubbish, I did just as she had instructed.

After the shrieking and hysterical remarks finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to how I should position my credit card.

Nonetheless, I've been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

They need to make their instructions a little clearer for seniors.

Ethel checked into a motel on her 70th birthday and she was a bit lonely, and thought, “I’ll call one of those men you see advertised in phone books for escorts and sensual massages.”

She found a full page ad for a guy calling himself Tender Tom – a very handsome man with assorted physical skills flexing in the photo. He had all the right muscles in all the right places, thick wavy hair, long powerful legs, dazzling smile, six pack abs and she felt quite certain she could bounce a sixpence off his well oiled bum....

She figured, what the heck, nobody will ever know. I’ll give him a call.

“Good evening, ma’am, how may I help you? . . Oh my, he sounded sooo sexy!

Afraid she would lose her nerve if she hesitated, she rushed right in, “Hi, I hear you give a great massage. I’d like you to come to my motel room and give me one. No, wait, I should be straight with you. I’m in town all alone and what I really want is sex. I want it hot, and I want it now.

Bring implements, toys, rubber, leather, whips, everything you’ve got in your bag of tricks. We’ll go hot and heavy all night - tie me up, cover me in chocolate syrup and whipped cream, anything and everything, I’m ready!! Now how does that sound?”

He said, “That sounds absolutely fantastic, but you need to press 9 for an outside line.” (Ed checked birthday list – no Ethels. Whew!!)

Please add your name to PINK booking list for any of the following shows at our

meetings.

EDITOR’S NOTES

Please continue to send items to [email protected], and if possible remember that the font we

use is Arial, size 9. The deadline for the February Newsletter is Friday 30 January, although anyone wanting to send in

material before that date is welcome to do so. This edition of the newsletter has been printed at Officeworks due to the holiday

season. When I receive material via email, I will acknowledge receipt as I open it. If an activity is not updated by the

convenor, it will disappear. The deadline timeframe is not negotiable. If anyone has general interest material that can be

used to fill in reasonable sized spaces in the newsletter, please forward it to me and I will hold it in an emergency folder.

TEA ROSTER

The tea roster does not obligate anyone; it is just a guide to help

spread the load. Supplies are arranged. You need to be at the

hall at around 9.00am to set up and help serve during Fellowship

then clean up afterwards. Please bring two tea towels to dry the

dishes. There is an A4 sheet headed “Fellowship Tea Roster

Duties” in the box with the tea and coffee, explaining what has to

be done. If you are physically unable to carry out the roster

duties, please let us know and we will take your name off the list.

If you are unable to attend on your rostered day, please phone

Adrian or Anne.
