Theater is a space where we test out and witness what it means to be human; in finding these

meanings, we become still more human...If we need to be told it, the theater tells us that we're

all in this together.

- Zelda Fichandler, founder of Arena Stage and matriarch of the regional theater movement

MPACT Mpact is a programming initiative that employs the skills and resources of Milwaukee Repertory Theater to create positive change in the greater Milwaukee community. By utilizing the tremendous creative assets of the company and our resident artists, we ask our audiences, stakeholders, and partners to think about what they want the future to look like and then assist them in developing the skills, resources and relationships needed to make that future a reality.

Three Focus Areas: • Strengthening & Celebrating Milwaukee • Social-Emotional Learning & Literacy • Diversity & Inclusion

The arts, whatever they do, whenever they call us together, invite us to look at our fellow human being with generosity and curiosity. God knows, if we ever needed that capacity in human history, we need it now.

- Ben Cameron, The Jerome Foundation
