• "POWERFINS" are sets of flexible appendages which are attached to the hull of a craft, for creating a specialized apparatus.

* They will effect the recapture of most or all of the exerted power losses to hullsʼ forms, and make use of energy usually lost to the Hullʼs bow-wave making, drag, and skin frictions.

* As part of a created apparatus, they will form a pliable inclining trochoidal-wave for facilitating a new layer of water-lubrication along the under-surface of the hull; and also allow access for trapping an air lubrication layer between the hull and the water.

* They also diminish the need for ʻpower-trimʼ and/or the use of ʻtrim-tabsʼ on planing hulls, or Bilge Keels on fast and slow Displacement hulls.

POWERFINS" are installed to be snug to the hull and will automatically extend/open on a fixed core pin, as a reaction to the water resistance to the forward movement of the craft.

•"POWERFINS" significantly increase performance, efficiency and maneuverabilities of crafts.* Displacement hull tests show 20% increased use of effective horsepower, lowering fuel consumption and yielding

a flying/surfing like effect over the hump of the wake. High speed watercraftsʼ tests showed only 7% increased speed & economy and dynamic-comfort.
