Dear Parishioners: Please send back the information on your emails and cell phones. It is the best way and sometimes the only way we can communicate with you quickly. Please return the form in the self -addressed envelope asap. Take your missalette home each week and bring it back to sing! If you want one for next year let me know. Correction: Cost will be $10. Church life is gradually improving! We can now have 25 % parishioners of our fire capacity in the body of the church and 10 in each cry room and 10 in the chapel while maintaining social distancing and wearing masks. Total: 84 spac-es. We are exceeding this capacity at the 12 noon Spanish Mass. If you come after the church is filled, you will not be admitted. Please attend one of the other masses or watch our livestream on our website: presentationdenver.org. You can watch mass on Channel 12 in English at 6:30 and 7 a.m. Spanish. Pub-lic masses are at 8 a.m. M – F. RE students will be confirmed on Aug. 1 (English), Aug. 4 and 6. (Spanish). Fr. Guillermo will celebrate the two Spanish Confirmations. Please support the ACA Campaign. Archbishop gave Presentation $13,500 from the campaign and the assistance of Catholic Community Services to help us raise our offertory to pre-Covid levels.

Please send your contributions by mail to 665 Irving, Denver, CO 80204 or make them online at the parish website. You can bring them by the rectory and put them in the special box on the door. Who Remembers the Aborted Children In 1999, I was deeply moved by the Memorial Day concert shown on TV from Washington D.C. honoring the men and women who fought and died for their country so we could all be free. They fought for all of us - the elderly, the middle aged, the young and all the babies. Yes. I am proud of my country but I'm ashamed of the law that allows the killing of babies in the womb of their mothers and the laws that for-bids mentioning God in public schools and buildings. Charles Durning, an American Movie Star, gave an impassioned speech and his moving words could well be applied to the aborted babies of our country. “We grieve for each and everyone. You are precious in our eyes. We wonder what great heights you could have achieved had your life not been taken.” I couldn't help but wonder if some day we might hold a national memorial for the over 62 million babies killed, not by an enemy from a distant land, but by our own laws and by their own mothers. Ruth Weber Davenport Iowa
