Thank you for being with us in all joys and sorrows, for your comfort in our sadness, your companionship in our loneliness.

Thank you for yesterday, today and tomorrow and for the whole of our lives may we live this day and every day conscious of all that has been given to us AMEN.

3. Heavenly father, we pray for the conversion of sinners, all who have lost faith, hope or the friendship of God, in your mercy and love bring them back to your fold.

We thank you Father for our priests and bishops, give them valiant faith in the face of confusion and conflict, hope in times of trouble and sorrow and steadfast love for you, for their families and all people who rely on them. May they all bring us closer to you with every word and deed of their life AMEN.

4.Father of light and wisdom, thank you for giving us a mind that can understand and a heart that can love. Help us to keep learning every day of our lives-no matter what the subject may be.

Let us be convinced that all knowledge leads to you, encourage us when studies are difficult and when we are tempted to give up. Enlighten us when our brain is slow and help us to grasp the truth. Help our dear parents and guide our teachers.

Grant us the grace to put our knowledge to use in the building of your kingdom AMEN.
