3. Under Link to, verify that Existing File or Web Page is selected. In the Address box, typehttp://www.ca.gov as shown in Figure 1.

This is the URL—Uniform Resource Locator, or web address—for the state ofCalifornia web site. From this web site you can find additional travel informationabout California.

4. In the upper right corner of the Insert Hyperlink dialog box, click the ScreenTip button.

ScreenTip text displays when you point to hyperlinks during the slide show.

5. Type California Travel Planning and then click OK. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box,click OK, and then click anywhere on the slide to cancel the selection.

Notice that the hyperlink text is underlined and is green instead of brown. During theslide show, you can click the hyperlink, and your Internet connection will start and display the web site.

6. To test your hyperlink, on the Slide Show tab, in the Start Slide Show group, click theFrom Current Slide button. Point to the hyperlink—Important Travel Information—to display the Link Select pointer and the California Travel Planning ScreenTip as shown inFigure 2.

8. After you have viewed the web page, Close your browser to return to the presentation. PressE to end the presentation.

9. Insert a Header & Footer on the Notes and Handouts. Include the Page number and theFooter Lastname_Firstname_p04_Travel

10. Save the presentation. Print your presentation or submit the file, as directed by yourinstructor.
