The incumbent has the responsibility for providing direct support to the CE Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA)/Hierarchy Level 7 (HL-7) Agency Program Coordinator (APC). Assists with updating local policy and guidance for the Travel Charge Card (GTCC) and Defense Travel System (DTS) programs in order to maintain audit and inspection readiness. Maintains DTS organizational reporting hierarchies that support electronic routing and approval of documents via DTS. Maintains appointment/acknowledgement letters and required training certificates for accountable officials. Extracts and works required reports. Adds and registers new users, detaching users, and assists travelers in reducing errors within their DTS profile. Receives and responds to DTS trouble issues presented by CE personnel or higher headquarters. Liaisons with the DTS Help Desk, Lead Defense Travel Administrator (LDTA), Financial Defense Travel Administrators (FDTAs), to resolve authorization/voucher errors and/or rejections. Assists in monitoring and maintaining the HL-7 III MEF CE GTCC program. Extracts, properly works and maintains HL-7 reports. Properly checks in/out CE travelers, ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and properly retained. Processes increases/mission critical requests for cardholders when necessary. Notifies travelers and supervisors of charge card delinquencies. Assists travelers in updating GTCC profiles, reconciling GTCC statements, and troubleshooting errors. Liaisons with higher HLs, Citibank, and cardholders in order to resolve issues or provide support for taskers, as required. Assists in the training of CE travelers, users, Authorizing Officials, Certifying Officials, and Reviewing Officials. Assists in the development and/or dissemination of training materials in the use of new ( or updated) policy and system modifications. Assists in CE travel program projects as required.
