Steps for Computing Grades1. Get the total score for each component.2. Divide the total raw score by the highest possible score then multiply the quotient
by 100 %.3. Convert Percentage Scores ( PS ) to Weighted Scores ( WS ). Multiply the PS by the
weight of the component.

DISCIPLINARY MEASURES - MISBEHAVIORS
• First Offense– Pupil is given warning
• Second Offense– Parents are invited to visit the school
• Third Offense– Referral to the principal
• Fourth Offense– Suspension based on the degree of
committed misconduct
DISCIPLINARY MEASURES - CHEATING
• A pupil who will be caught cheating will be given a verbal reprimand if it was committed for the first time. If his/her act continues and caught for the second time, his/her parent/guardian will be invited for a discussion with the adviser. The pupil shall be given a 25% deduction on his/her score on the test wherein he/she was caught cheating. This is applicable for all the above instances.
GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE
• First Step – Approach the teacher involved and talk about
the issue carefully
• Second Step– If the problem is not settled, approach the
Principal
• Third Step– If not settled with the Principal, file a written
complaint to the Management Committee who will decide
on the case

LATE AND ABSENCES
• LATE if the child arrived after 7:00 in the morning for Mondays–When the pupil has entered late, his/her ID
shall be confiscated upon entering the gate. This shall be given to the 1st period teacher for the checking of the attendance. Confiscated IDs shall be returned after.
• LATE if the child arrived after 7:05 in the morning for Tuesdays until Fridays– 3 consecutive lates = 1 absent
LATE AND ABSENCES
• Exemptions– TYPHOON (DepEd Order No. 43 s. 2012)• Sig.#1 Public and private preschool and
kindergarten classes in the affected areas shall be automatically cancelled or suspended• Sig.#2 Public and private preschool, kindergarten,
elementary and secondary classes in the affected areas shall be automatically cancelled or suspended• Sig.#3 Work in all DepEd offices in the affected
areas shall be automatically cancelled or suspended
LATE AND ABSENCES
• Exemptions– Sickness and Hospitalization
• Child who was absent because of sickness should pass MEDICAL CERTIFICATE on the next attendance to school if brought to the hospital
• Child who was absent because of sickness BUT treated at home; parents should pass EXCUSE LETTER address to the child’s adviser on the next attendance to school
– DEATH OF RELATIVE• Child who was absent because of death of any relativeand must attend funeral or burial shall be excused provided that the adviser will be informed upon absence
LATE AND ABSENCES
• Excused Pupils– Any missed activities shall be given upon
his/her return to school. These shall have no deduction on his/her score.
• Absent Pupils– Any missed activities shall be given upon
his/her return to school. These shall have 10% deductions on his/her score.
TUTORING SERVICES
• Tutoring Fee: ₱ 1400.00 / month– Tutorial is in monthly basis.
• *Note: Advisers shall not be allowed to tutor the child belonging to their advisory class.
RECYCLING CAMPAIGN
• Last school year: ₱ • Start of collections: June 20, 2014• Disposal of recycled materials: every 2nd

SUNDAY SCHOOL
• SUNDAY SCHOOL attendance is advised to the pupils of CALAPAN CHU ENG SCHOOL every Sunday, 10:30 to 11:30 in the morning.• Attendance in Sunday School
shall be included in the child’s CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
SUNDAY SCHOOL
• Vacation Bible School is available every summer.• Learn with FUN, enjoy the GAMES, and KNOW JESUS more through the different exciting activities like SINGING, DANCING AND CRAFTING.
