Academic success is important for all students. In order to provide support early in the school year for freshman and sophomore students, we have established extra support seminars. We began this program last year. At the end of first four weeks, (eligibility review) students with three or more failing grades may be placed into a non-moving seminar to ensure they get extra support they need to improve their grades.

Students will work to strengthen study, time management, and organization skills. The students will be given time to work on assignments with teachers in that classroom. At the end of the semester, the students’ grades will be reviewed. We are hoping that these students can get back on track and return to a moving seminar.

Welcome to the 2016-17 school year at Rolling Meadows High School. We are looking forward to meeting you at Open House on Wednesday, Septembery 7, 2016, where you will have an opportunity to visit with each of your child’s teachers. Please make sure you bring a copy of your child’s schedule with you to Open House. Click here to review the letter you received regarding Open House. Also new this year, the school store will be open during Open House for familes to purchase Mustang spirti wear.

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Please save the date. The parent-teacher partnership is the most effective intervention for a student’s academic success. To make the process as convenient as possible, we will again have online sign up for appointments. Letters will be sent home with information on how to sign up for specific time slots.
