Hello Residents,
Please join me in welcoming Rachelle Gillespie as our Executive Director and Charlie Goff as our Administrator.
A note from Rachelle: I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve you and your family at Regency. My door is always open to you to listen and learn how we may continue to serve and provide a great community setting for you and our staff. I am a mother of three chil-dren, Meghan, Brett and Bryce who have blessed their father and me with four grandchildren; Lily, Chaislyn, Eason and Kinley. My hus-band & I have been married 38 years and look forward to many more.
A note from Charlie: I have been a registered nurse since 2013. I have worked in cardiothoracic surgery for three years, and long-term care for five years. My love for helping seniors came from caring for my grandmother who had Alzheimer’s disease. I have been mar-ried ten years and we have three sons. I am a member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church. I enjoy helping people in the community affected by drugs and alcohol, being outdoors, and traveling. I am a Disney World fanatic. I look forward to serving you.
Congratulations, Rachelle and Charlie!

What a great week! Thank you to the residents, staff and vendors for making this week everything we hoped it would be. There was something for everyone. We had arts and crafts, food, yoga, painting, dogs, snow cones, and we ended with a tasty BBQ cookout.
We had such a great time, let’s do it again next year!

Remember When...
Each month, several vendors perform at Regency. The idea is to provide a variety of entertainment. Some entertain-ers are local while others come from outside of Alabama.
UAB Theatre stopped by to perform show tunes from “Broadway Leading Ladies.” This group of four ladies travels to schools, churches, and retirement communities.
Dee Dee and Beth brought gospel music to Berkshire by singing and playing the piano. An added treat was when Murphy sang Jesus Loves Me in Spanish! Thanks Murphy!
