NETS-S 2Students use digital media and environments to communicate and work

collaboratively, including at a distance, to support individual learning and contribute to the learning of others.

Students will create an online art gallery with typed commentary on what the picture is and how it relates to the time period in which it was taken. For example students may take this picture and say

“World Wars have caused many other foreign countries to become involved in world mobilization as seen here Egyptian soldiers run drills under British instruction.”

Students will use any media at their disposal to demonstrate to their teacher and class there most important moment in history Students will do a report through any media

they feel comfortable with (presentation, film/video, class discussion) on their most important historical event

Students will use simulations in order to become more critical thinkers Students will be asked if the Atomic

Bomb should have been used on Japan or not? And why do they feel that way?

Citing sources, essays, ethical technology use Students will be required to submit essays,

research papers, and presentations to the teacher via the internet, and email with proper citations, grammar, and spelling as a way of showing the teacher that they understand the proper use of copy written marital and proper technology use in the classroom
