Spanish Field Trip

The field trip has been cancelled due to scheduling conflict. Mrs. Knecht will

have an alternate plan which only requires one day local travel. More

information will be sent out in the near future.

Dress Code Policy

It has come to our attention that some of the students are not in dress code. It

is imperative that those students follow this policy. Each violation is equivalent to

demerit points, which affect student’s citizenship grade and may be a part of the

transcript and recommendations to colleges or future employers (please refer to

the student handbook, page 23). Additionally, referrals for bad behavior,

unexcused absences and tardiness, cutting class, and using cell phones or other

electronic devices in class accumulate demerit points.

“Teen and Young Adult Dating Violence” is the theme for tomorrow’s annual ENDITNOW observance day at 994 Beech Street, Palo Alto (near IKEA). You and your children are invited to attend in order to learn about this community

issue.

Sealed Off Area on the Upper Deck The facilities manager covered a small

area of damaged ground on the upper deck, so the office and classrooms can

be easily accessed from the student parking lot or the northside of MVA campus

(see picture on back page). We have been working with a structural engineer

and the right people to ensure that we are in compliance of the city building

code. Thank you for your patience.
