AOS 2 shared music
• Revise: The type of ensemble How they interact What musical period this is from Typical music features Listen to lots of Baroque and classical music and try to identify the differences between each era
AOS 3 dance music
• Use the study guide and bitsize to revise: • Key musical features (especially rhythm) • The county/dates • And how the music complements the dance
AOS4 descriptive music
• Listen to as much descriptive music as possible and practice writing HOW the music represents the story/mood
• If you are finding this hard break it down into musical elements:
• Pitch • Rhythm/tempo • Dynamics • Harmony • Structure • Phrasing • Instrument techniques/compositional techniques
