    Changes from 16.01 to 16.02

    Hydromax

Issue 3337 – A problem with the tank items in the loadcase has been fixed. Theproblem occurred if the tank fluid density, fluid type or permeability was changedwithout recomputing the tank geometry. If this happened the volume and massesdisplayed in the loadcase then corresponded to the volume of the tank boundaries(unclipped to the hull). Saving and re-opening the file also fixed the problem.

Issue 3327 – A problem which occurred with some vessels with the measuredBeam OA, as shown in the IMO roll-back angle calculation, has been fixed.

Issue 3323 – A problem that occurred when selecting surfaces for tank boundarieshas been fixed. If the dialog appeared over the mouse location, when the mousewas double-clicked, the surface selection could be changed inadvertently.

Issue 3294 – A problem with surface mirroring has been fixed. This was particularly

noticeable when defining tanks with boundary surfaces: Surfaces appeared on thewrong side of the model.

Issue 3281 – The maximum number of heel angles that may be analysed has beenlimited to 500 (to prevent the results table from overflowing)

Task 4948 – R-Index reduction factor for probabilistic damage analysis has beenadded.

Task 4940 – Margin line and Deck edge immersion angles have been added as limitoptions to the Range of Stability criterion.

    Maxsurf

Issue 3340 – When the Contour Tolerance was set to 0.01mm and the design wasreloaded the tolerance was reset to 0.2. The tolerance now loads correctly as0.01mm.

Issue 3349 – Fix an issue when trimming in render mode, and Maxsurf loses focus. This issue was only affecting some Windows7 based systems.

    Hullspeed

Task 4949 – It is now possible to setup the slender body mesh geometry using theCOM / Automation interface. See Hullspeed.Application.Design. SBAGroups

Issue 3290 - When adding a curve by selecting the centre point on the port side of avessel in body plan view, it always snapped to the centreline of the vessel, evenwhen the Ctrl key was down. This has been fixed.

Issue 3292 - A crash when merging two models together with trimming on.

Issue 3302 – Surface Properties are now correctly displayed in the propertywindow when selecting a surface from the Assembly Window and the focus is inone of the view windows.

    Workshop

Issue 3297 - If a material was not assigned to a longitudinal girder then the weightestimate was undefined in the parts datasheet.

Issue 3286 - A crash that occurred when calculating a linear segment on a VariableWeb Depth opening of a frame on a catamaran has been fixed.

Issue 3332 – A crash when adding stringer on more than one highlighted contourhas been fixed.

    Known Issues

This section describes any known issues with the software.

    Software updates

The following section describes the changes that have been made to the various programs.

    All Programs

    64 bit Versions

This release introduces 64-bit versions of all programs for the first time. You should usethe 64-bit Maxsurf installer to install 64-bit versions only if you are running a 64-bitversion of Windows.

Please note that we have restricted our 64-bit versions to Windows 7 64-bit only to allowus to take advantage of some of the new features available in future - it will not run onXP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit.

64-bit versions allow you to use larger amounts of memory and are slightly faster than32-bit versions. Under 32-bit versions of Windows, only a maximum of 2GB of memoryis available to any programs running. Under 64-bit windows, applications cantheoretically utilise up to 128GB of memory. In practice if you get a 64-bit machine thenyou will want to get 8-12GB of RAM.For users with large designs, the 64-bit versions are highly recommended. If you arerunning other memory intensive programs like 3D AutoCAD or ShipConstructor, thenhaving a 64-bit version of Windows with more memory will also be a big advantage.

In addition – please note that users with NetSentinel dongles who wish to use the new64-bit versions will need to contact us for a replacement dongle as these are no longersupported.

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Task 4785 – If a model is specified to be a monohull, the overall extents of beam atthe waterline will be used for hydrostatic coefficients; if the vessel type iscatamaran or trimaran, then the sum of the breadths of the waterline beamintersections will be used (this was also the old behaviour for monohulls).

    Maxsurf

User-defined labels for zero point: Task 4831

It is now possible to add user-defined labels for the longitudinal datum and verticaldatum of the model. This is done in the Zero Point / Frame of Reference dialog. Bydefault, these are automatically generated by your choice of zero point location, but thelabels may be modified if desired; this can be especially useful when a user-defineddatum is used:

    User labels for Datum

These labels are then noted in the Report output from a Hydromax analysis:

    Improved Surface Skinning Capabilities

Version 16 sees a major upgrade to the surface skinning capabilities of Maxsurf. Thereis a new algorithm allowing the user to have greater control over the surface beingcreated by entering the desired control point net (number of rows and columns) as wellas the surface stiffness:

  • 8/9/2019 Ms Rel Note 1603

    7/22

    Page 7

The “Use setting for exact fit” option will choose the number of control point columnsand rows as well as the surface stiffnesses to create a surface that exactly fits through thecurves to be skun.

    Arc Curves

Arc curves can now be added from the Add Curve menu. An arc curve is defined by acentre, start point and end point. The radius of the arc is determined from the distance between the centre point and start point. The angle of the arc is determined by the angle between the lines defined from the centre to the start point and the centre to the end point. The three points can be defined either numerically or graphically using the mouse. The command is invoked form the Curve | Add Curve | Arc menu option or from the AddArc button on the curves toolbar.

    Markers Menu: Task 4873

The order of several items in the Markers menu has been changed and several items have been renamed:

Delete Duplicate Markers – has been moved towards the top of the menu becausethis is probably the first command that should be executed when working withimported markers.

Sort Marker Stations – Sort Markers within Stations

Auto re-order Selected Markers – Re-sort Selected Markers

Invert Marker Ordering for Current Station – Reverse ordering for Current Station

    Task 4884: Show Only Command

A new command has been added to the right click menu in the view windows and theright click menu in the Assembly window, called “Show Only” . Show Only will hide allobjects that are not selected. This includes any combination of curves and surfaces.

When you need show all objects again use the Assembly Window or via “Visibility”from the “Curves” or “Surfaces” Menu.

Select surfaces befor e using the “Show Only” command

Now only selected surfaces are displayed

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Task 4858 – Change selection of current control point using keyboard Tab+Arrow-keys:Tab+Left/Right arrows for previous/next control point column;Tab+Up/Down for previous/next control point row.(Un-tabbed arrow key moves the control point by the Nudge Increment defined inthe Display | Drawing settings dialog; Ctrl+Arrow key nudges by 10-times the

nudge increment.)Task 4851 – DXF polylines and spline entities can now be imported to Maxsurf asCurves. To do this open the file from the File | Import | DXF... menu command.

Task 4751 – Curves can now be exported from Maxsurf to Rhino .3dm files, curvescan also be imported from a Rhino .3dm file.

Task 4716 – Transpose command for control points has been moved from theControls | Advance | Transpose menu to Controls | Transpose.

Task 4661 – Improved trimmed region definitions for exported Rhino .3dm filesresulting in much smaller file sizes.

Task 4771 – On launching Maxsurf a new blank design is now automaticallyopened.

Task 4817 - Undo has been implemented for Marker | Sort marker stationscommand.

Task 4796 – It is now possible to specify the seawater density to be used for theParametric Transformation. The same density will be used for all calculations: DWLhydrostatics and Parametric Transformation. (AC rule always uses a density of1025kg/m 3).

Task 4792 – If a design contains markers or design grid elements, users will beprompted to continue when using the AC rule measurement because thiscommand deletes all the markers in the model. Hydrostatics calculations havebeen made more accurate and are always carried out at at least High precision. Acolumn indicating the measurement units has been added. The AC rule units arefixed irrespective of the user’s units settings.

Task 4818 – It is now possible to hide the zero point in the design view: Display |Design Grid | Show Zero Point. Further the zero point is exported on its own DXFlayer.

Task 4816 - OpenNurbs has been updated from version 4.0 to 5.0. This allows dataexchange between Rhino version 5.0.

Task 4870- A new design is automatically opened after a file is closed.

Task 4863 – When transpose dialog is opened the surfaces that are selected in thegraphical views are now automatically checked in the surface list.

Issue 3128 – Maxsurf and Hydromax now identify the fwd and aft extremities ofmodels more reliably when the model is not continuous longitudinally.

Issue 3089 – An error in the longitudinal position of offsets that occurred in v15.22has been corrected.

Issue 3070 – Undo is now possible after the AC rule command, since this mayaffect markers.

Issue 3094 - Error deleting a surface from the assembly tree when the surfaces

control points are selected.Issue 3091 - Surface properties window not updating when selecting from theassembly tree when a data window has focus.

Issue 3120 – “Skin Surface” command renamed to “Skin Curves”.

Issue 3116 – An invalid trimmed region being created when importing a Rhino filethat has trimmed planar surfaces only on the y-z plane has been fixed.

Issue 3110 - A crash caused by changing the stiffness of a revered duplicatedcurve has been fixed.

Issue 3108 – An offset surface could not be highlighted by a mouse click eventhough it was selectable in non-rendered mode.

Issue 3105 - An improper argument being encountered when surfaces being joinedhad differing numbers of control points along the joining edge has been fixed.

Issue 2872 - When splitting a linear surface Maxsurf sometimes inserted aduplicate row or column of control points along the edge of the split on one of thesurfaces. This has been fixed.

Issue 3044 & 3057- A warning dialog prompting the user to merge design whenopening a new one and there is no valid data in the design has been removed.

Issue 3051 – A crash being experienced after executing a fit curve to markerstations command has been fixed.

Issue 3152 – A crash occurring when trying to create a 4 sided surface patch fromlinear curves whose ends do not coincide has been fixed.

    Page 11

Issue 3152 - A crash caused by the user trying to create a 4 sided patch surfacefrom linear curves that did not create a closed region has been fixed.

Issue 3127 - When creating a surface of revolution, if the user did not change theangle of rotation value from its default value, the curve was swept through anincorrect angle to create the surface. This has been rectified.

Issue 3217 – Surface of revolution dialog not remembering settings whenreopened. After being initialised the surface of revolution dialog will remember itslast settings when being reopened.

Issue 3208 – Rhino trim regions were sometimes being misinterpreted when beingimported resulting in inverse visibility of regions (i.e. regions that should havebeen invisible were visible and visa versa).

Issue 3203 – When adding a data point curve in one of the orthogonal views if apoint was snapped to a location then all the points on the curve were snapped tothe same depth (i.e. longitudinal location in body plan view, transverse location inprofile view and height location in plan).

Issue 3203 – When skinning a surface from curves sometimes the resultant curvecontained non-uniform knot vectors. This has been fixed.

Issue 3221 – When graphically drawing a arc or a curve the first point (centre) cannow be snapped if snap setting is on.

Issue 3131 - Body Plan Control Box not updating after hiding surfaces. TheControl box now updates and resizes when surface visibility is modified.

Issue 3165 - Undo problems with the Surface | Move Surface | Freeform command.

Issue 3192 - Tank Visibility not working in render mode.

Issue 3094 - Deleting surfaces and curves from the assembly tree results in aninvalid argument.

Issue 3199 - Trimmed sections display not updating after turning trimming on andoff.

Issue 3234 – Data point curves not refreshing after moving markers using the movemarkers command.

Issue 3235 – Data point curves not refreshing after moving markers using therotate markers command.

Issue 3262 – Adding a curve on an edge contour that had a control point with aweight other than unity was not very accurate. This has been fixed.

    MARPOL Oil Outflow: Task 4819

MARPOL probabilistic oil outflow calculation may be computed according to thefollowing MARPOL regulations:

Resolution MEPC.141(54), Regulation 12A: Oil fuel tank protectionResolution MEPC.117(52), Regulation 23: Accidental oil outflow performance

Define the tanks in the Compartment definition window then choose the MARPOLanalysis mode. Select the Resolution and tanks to be included in the analysis in theMARPOL options (Analysis menu) dialog (see below).

    MARPOL Options dialog (Analysis menu)

The MARPOL options dialog allows the user to select the tanks that should be includedin the analysis for both MARPOL Regulations.

    Page 12

Tank selection for the MARPOL analysis

The list of selected tanks is different for both Regulations since Regulation 12A is forfuel tanks and Regulation 23 applies to cargo tanks. Further each tank has the option for

being included in the computation for outflow due to side- and bottom-damage. Whenyou select a Regulation with the radio buttons, the corresponding list of selected tankswill be displayed in the grid.

    MARPOL Tank measurements

If the “Update all tank measurements” check -box is ticked, then Hydromax will attemptto measure the required tank parameters (over-writing any that have previously beenmanually edited).

Due to the nature of some of the measurements, it is not possible to guarantee thatHydromax will be 100% accurate in interpreting the measurements as defined in theMARPOL documents, for this reason the user should carefully review the valuesgenerated by Hydromax.

    MARPOL Results and additional Input

Because the calculations of the MARPOL analysis are very quick they are done in real-time as input data is edited by the user. For this reason the data input and results arecombined in one table. The table is in the MARPOL tab of the Results window:

    13/22

    Maxsurf v16.03 Release Note

    Page 13

    MARPOL calculations: Results Window

The table is split into three parts: main Hull parameters, oil outflow due to Side damageand finally oil outflow due to Bottom damage. Parameters that can be edited are shown in

black; those which cannot are shown in grey.Main Hull Parameters

Different parameters are shown depending on the Regulation being used. Regulation 23calculates the nominal oil density as the deadweight divided by the total tank capacity;the deadweight is computed as the difference in displacements between the deepestloadline draft and the lightship draft (or may be specified directly). For Regulation 12A,

the nominal fuel oil density is specified by the user, the default being 1000kg/m3.

Furthermore the inert gas overpressure may be specified for Regulation 23.

The deepest loadline draft is taken as the DWL draft; the lightship draft is used tocalculate the deadweight for Regulation 23 and the partial draft, which affects bottom-damage outflow in Regulation 12A.

If a parameter is modified, it is possible to revert back to the Hydromax calculated valueor default by typing „H‟ or double clicking:

Reverting back to default/calculated parameter values

For full definitions of the parameters, please refer to the relevant IMO instruments.

Main hull parameters required for each Regulation

    Tank Parameters

Calculations are shown further down; listing first side-damage tanks, then bottom-damage tanks. The user-editable tank parameters are the main dimensions which affectthe probability of damage. These should be carefully checked since these can be difficultfor Hydromax to automatically measure in some cases. For tanks which are to beconsidered for both side- and bottom- damage, these values are linked so it is onlynecessary to edit them in one location.

Note: Hydromax will overwrite user-edited tank parameters!Remember that any data that you change manually will be overwritten byHydromax if the “Update all tank measurements” option is ticked in theMARPOL options dialog.

It is advisable to copy any manually edited data to a spreadsheet or text fileif you only want to update the measurements of some tanks.

For full definitions of the parameters, please refer to the relevant IMO instruments

    Saving

With the MARPOL sheet active, the MARPOL data may be saved; it is also saved in themain .hmd file when the design is saved.

    Probabilistic MSC.216(82): R-Index reduction factor: Task 4948

It is now possible to add a reduction factor for the required R-Index for the MSC.216(82)Probabilistic Damage analysis. This is required, for example, for the DNV class notationfor Special Purpose Ships:

  • 8/9/2019 Ms Rel Note 1603

    15/22

    Maxsurf v16.03 Release Note

    Page 15

for ships carrying 240 persons or more, the R-value is assigned as 1.0R;for ships carrying not more than 60 persons, the R-value is assigned as 0.8R; andfor ships carrying more than 60 persons, but less than 240 persons, the R-valueshall be determined by linear interpolation between the R-values given above.

    Probabilistic MSC.216(82): Issue 3121

Hydromax now checks that the individual attained indices for the three loadcases passthe required subdivision index criterion MSC.216(82), Regulation 6.1. The factor of therequired index is defined automatically when changing vessel type, but this value may bechanged if desired:

Required subdivision indices for each loadcase

As a consequence, the results layout has been modified slightly. Two additional columnshave been added on the right of the table, these show the required index and pass/failstatus.

MSC.19(58) does not require tests for the partial indices, just the final attained index

A minor display problem which occurred if there was only one damage zone defined has been fixed.

Default tank loading option for Loadcases: Task 4672

When creating a new loadcase, it is now possible to specify the default quantity (% full)for the tanks. (If this option is changed for an existing loadcase, it will be applied only tonew tanks that are added after the default quantity has been changed.) When using anexisting loadcase as a template the new loadcase can have either the template tankloadings copied or have the default tank loading applied.

Down flooding points “Flood f rom” option: Task 4808

It is now possible to specify where a downflooding point floods from. By default all

downflooding points flood from the sea, but this may be changed so that a downflooding point floods from a compartment. In this case the downflooding point will only beeffective if the “Flood from” co mpartment is damaged in the current damage case. (Thisis the opposite of the existing “Linked to” option which means that the dowflooding

point is ignored if that compartment is damaged – because it is already flooded.)

DF point “hatch 2” is ignored for this intact condition because it floods from “Hold” and not from the “Sea”

Criteria: EU-Classification of Inland Waterway Ships-2006/87/EC

    Background Image and Dxf

Hydromax now has the ability to display background images or dxf files. You add animage/dxf file in the same way as Maxsurf, via the File | Import menu. Use the Display |Background menu to show or hide the image or dxf file. This will allowsTank/Compartment geometry to be fitted to existing diagrams.

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Issue 3337 – A problem with the tank items in the loadcase has been fixed. Theproblem occurred if the tank fluid density, fluid type or permeability was changedwithout recomputing the tank geometry. If this happened the volume and massesdisplayed in the loadcase then corresponded to the volume of the tank boundaries(unclipped to the hull). Saving and re-opening the file also fixed the problem.

Issue 3327 – A problem which occurred with some vessels with the measuredBeam OA, as shown in the IMO roll-back angle calculation, has been fixed.

Issue 3323 – A problem that occurred when selecting surfaces for tank boundaries

has been fixed. If the dialog appeared over the mouse location, when the mousewas double-clicked, the surface selection could be changed inadvertently.

Issue 3294 – A problem with surface mirroring has been fixed. This was particularlynoticeable when defining tanks with boundary surfaces: Surfaces appeared on thewrong side of the model.

Issue 3281 – The maximum number of heel angles that may be analysed has beenlimited to 500 (to prevent the results table from overflowing)

Task 4940 – Margin line and Deck edge immersion angles have been added as limitoptions to the Range of Stability criterion.

Issue 3244 – A crash which sometimes occurred if there were insufficient Loadcasetables available when loading a design has been fixed.

Issue 3173, 3158 – Probabilistic damage zone highlighting now works forlongitudinal bulkheads and decks defined for multiple adjacent zone damage (up tothe maximum number of adjacent zones to be analysed – Global probabilisticdamage input table).

Change instances of “Equilibrium Condition” text to simply “Equilibrium”.

Issue 3209 – Fix problem when pasting boundary surface list into Compartmentdefinition window.

Issue 3207 – Fix Probabilistic typo.

Issue 3196 – Criterion Ratio of Areas 2a, hide unused rows in results.

Issue 3195 – Fix crash when displaying help in Criteria dialog that occurred on

some systems.Fix potential divide by zero error in Probabilistic damage if no loadcasesdefined/selected.

Issue 3164 – Fix problem when loading loadcases with tank loadings defined bymass – these were incorrectly being read in as 100%. Tanks loadings defined byanything other than mass (percentage full, volume, sounding or ullage) were beingread correctly.

Issue 3171 – Fix problem when using a loadcase with tank loadings defined bymass as a template – any tank loadings defined by mass were being converted to100% in the new loadcase.

Visibility options for the Zero-Point and Frame of Reference have been added

    (Display|DesignGrid menu).

For the Probabilistic Damage analysis, range checking has been added to theLongitudinal Bulkhead b-values. These are measured from the side-shell so theymust always be positive and cannot be more than the side-shell offset.

Task 4243 – Duplicate tank calibration levels which sometimes occurred undersome specific circumstances have been removed. (Levels are consideredduplicates if all values – sounding, volume, CG, etc. – are the same.)

Issue 3151 – Incorrect splitting of the Tank Calibration results table in the reportwhen also calibrating compartments or non-buoyant volumes has been corrected.

Issue 3150 – In compact mode, incorrect units for theCTXRefHeelAreaBetweenGZAndHABetweenLimits2 criterion were being displayed(the value was correct, however.) This has now been corrected.

Issue 3145 – Problems with the Extent of Damage dialog when entering a damagecentre and length have been rectified.

Issue 3124 – In the Probabilistic Damage results, the sMoment column nowcorrectly shows the sMoment survivability data (previously the p-factor was beingrepeated, but this was a display issue only, results were still correct).

Fix potential divide-by zero error in sMoment (XRefProbDamSurvIdx criterion) if thespecified moments were zero.

Fixed some issues with the tool-tips in the Probabilistic Damage, Global inputtable.

Issue 3123 – When using a Loadgroup as a template for a new loadcase, the“Loadgroup” checkbox now works correctly (previously, the new loadcase wasalways added as a Loadgroup).

Status bar: show if skin thickness is being used

Issue 2453 - Properties Window not sized correctly on Window7 systems.

Issue 3191 - Selecting a tank in render mode changes the colour of the hullsections. Hull section colour is now rendered with the correct colour.

Issue 3186 - Hydromax Edge and Bonded Edge Visibility in GDI mode does notrespect the visibility state of the Surface in the Assembly Window.

Task 4876: Add new “Display Ex” toolbar for easy access to dxf/Imagebackground commands.

    Longitudinal Girder Flanges

A flange may now be added to the top of a longitudinal girder. The flange is defined byspecifying the distance the flange is to extrude port and starboard of the top of the girder.

The flange is always perpendicular to the girder web. The flange widths can be specifiedeither in the stringer properties dialog or the stinger datasheet.

Flanges will be developed when the stringer is calculated. The developed flange isdisplayed at the top of the part window and the web in the bottom:

When the girder is assigned a material that material is also assigned to the flange and will be included in all part info (COG) and weight estimates.

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Task 4710 – A warning dialog is now displayed when the user ties to develop astringer that does not have a shape associated with it.

Task 4709 – a symmetry flag has been added for stringers. This allows the user tocreate an asymmetrical stringer or girder on either side of the vessel. As withCurves in Maxsurf to add a stringer point on the negative (port) side of thecentreline the Control Key needs to be held down while inserting. For moreinformation see the latest Workshop manual.

Issue 2913 – Stringer point snap to edge tolerance is now screen pixel relatedrather than an absolute value. If a stringer point is dragged or added within 7pixels of a surface edge and the snap to edge option is on then the stringer pointwill snap to the closest edge point.

Issue 3088 – Crash deleting a curve for the assembly tree. Curves should not bedeleted in Workshop.

Issue 3100- Deck geometry not updating when in render mode. The geometry isupdated when deck properties are modified.

Issue 3103- Stringer names being put on the wrong layer when multiple stringersbeing exported to a dxf file has been fixed.

Issue 3099 – A bug causing stringers to be orientated the wrong direction in theparts window after being developed has been fixed.

Issue 3089 – Grid spacing command and dialog in Workshop has been renamed to

Design grid to be consistent with Maxsurf.Issue 3097 & 3064 – A crash being experienced by some users when exportingversion 13 workshop files has been rectified.

Issue 3085 – A bug causing frames not to be rendered correctly in a particulardesign (only showing the outline) has been fixed.

Issue 3084 – A bug causing the LCG of open frames to be calculated incorrectly inthe data window has been corrected.

Issue 3082 – A bug that caused marker points associated with longitudinal girdersnot to be hidden when the longitudinal girder was hidden has been fixed.

Issue 3066- A display issue causing Longitudinal markers to be displayed in partwindow for frame parts has been fixed.

Issue 3167 – A bug causing weight estimates for trimmed surface plates onsymmetrical surfaces to be double the actual weight has been fixed.

Issue 3205 – Stringer points being added on wrong side in body plan view.

Issue 3226 – Adding a triangular plate by selecting 3 contours was rarely causingWorkshop to stop responding. This has been fixed.

Issue 3225 – Adding a surface plate on a triangular surface sometimes producingan irregular plate mesh. This has been fixed.

Issue 3231 – If stringer names were displayed and a stringer’s visibility wasswitched off the name was remaining on the screen. This bug has been fixed.

Issue 3205 – When adding a stringer on the port side (holding the ctrl key down), if

the user released the ctrl key and hit enter after adding the last stringer point thestringer disappeared. This has been fixed.

Addition of spectral periods to “Summary table” – Task 4658

In the “Summary” re sults table, various periods of the different spectra are calculated, aswell as the period in seconds, the frequency is also given in parentheses:Modal (peak) T_0 (w_0)Mean (centroid) T_bar (w_bar)Mean zero-crossing T_z (w_z)

The frequencies are always shown in rad/s because this is always the frequency axis inthe graphs of the spectra.

Additionally the procedure for the spectral integration has been refined, this may result insmall changes in the integrated values, generally a slight increase, especially foraccelerations because the spectra are integrated up to a higher frequency and with greater

    precision than before.

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Issue 3083 – A crash which occurred if a characteristic wave height of zero wasspecified has been fixed.

Task 4783 – An option to limit the upper range of frequency in the graphs has beenadded (this does not affect the spectral integration frequency range)

    Hullspeed

    Bug fixes and minor changes

Task 4789 – Display | Animate has been added to Hullspeed, this allows ananimation of the vessel rotating (as per Maxsurf) to be saved as an .avi file.
