MINOR OFFICIALS CHECKLISTFor the upcoming club season all 15U Girlrsquos teams that are scheduled for officiating are expected to arrive promptly and to perform their Minor Official duties to an acceptable level as supervised by the matchrsquos First OfficialR1 amp their team Coaches
SECOND REFEREEAlways stand on the receiving
and defensive side of the court Keep your whistle in your mouth
On defensive side watch for faults at the net and on the centre line Make sure to use your whistle
Understand each playerrsquos position on the court Ensure the setter is standing in the correct position
For time-outs amp substitutions only whistle when coaches signal to you or when a player enters the substitution
zone in front of the 3m line
Following the R1rsquos whistle to end each rally always ensure to
mirror their signals
Assist the Scorer amp Line Judges in communications with the R1 Everyone works together as a team
The R1 may need you to help signal inouttouch calls if you see them first Confirm with the R1 beforehand
Review signals on the References Sheet or on the Volleyball BC

LINE JUDGEBe active standing at your corner You should shift side-to-side to
have better views
Do not follow the ball after an attack Watch the floor where the ball will generally land for
better judgement
Before the match record the following on the scoresheetSCORER
bull Be familiar with the Line Judge signals (On References Page) bull When signaling ensure to make eye contact with the R1
