• Mall Media is easy to buy • With all the mall media vendors it is tough plan or buy mall media

Types of Centers for Retail Marketing

Regional & Super Regional Malls These are the driving force of enclosed mall shopping. Regional centers will draw consumers from a trade area of 11-15 miles, while Super Regional Malls can draw from a radius of up to 50 miles. Other variables include the size of the center, frequency of visit, anchors, and common area space.

Lifestyle Centers have become the hub of social marketing and shopping. Size of center, anchors and common area space can affect traffic. Various size centers affect the centers’ trade area. Overall these centers experience frequent visits and become the “new downtown” for the area.

Power Centers are everyday destinations for consumers. Power center marketing can impact frequent shoppers during their daily routines. Traditionally Power Centers are anchored by Walmart, Target, or Best Buy type retailers.
