Barbara Kramer’s biography, Neil Armstrong, The First Man on the Moon, talks about Armstrong’s passion for planes as a child growing up in Ohio and his experiences and accomplishments as an astronaut for NASA. After becoming the first man to walk on the moon in the Apollo 11 mission, he received many awards, became a professor of aerospace engineering and led a very private life.
