MAKING A SEA BASE RESERVATION Helpful information is linked in the bulleted list below. Registration is offered online at www.bsaseabase.org, and is a first come, first served opportunity. Open Registration is not a lottery. Reservation is immediate. Review and ensure your crew meets Sea Base eligibility guidelines and leadership requirements. Each unit is responsible for understanding and abiding by these requirements. Complete the High Adventure Registration Checklist for your own use ONE WEEK prior to registering. o The leader registering will need to log into their My.Scouting account. o Reset password instructions linked here. Know the number of adult and youth members that will be attending your Sea Base adventure. No more than half of your crew can be composed of adult leaders. Each crew must have a minimum of 2 adult leaders, ages 21 and over. To make a reservation, a non-refundable $250.00 fee is required via credit card or ACH (electronic check). Communicate clearly with your unit and review availability and adventures to identify a selection of adventures that suit the interests of the unit. SCHOLARSHIPS Sea Base High Adventure offers partial need-based scholarships to individuals who wish to attend but cannot do so because of financial constraints. Travel to Florida Sea Base in Islamorada, meet your professional dive instructor or dive masters and embark on an amazing adventure of underwater discovery. Not only do Scouts scuba dive, they

participate in service projects such as coral conservation, marine debris removal, fish counts, and more. Florida Keys Scuba programs include Scuba Adventure up to 8 participants (must be certified divers), Scuba Certification up to 8 participants, Scuba Live Aboard up to 12 participants (must be

certified divers). All scuba participants must meet BSA Scuba Policy restrictions and be approved by the Sea Base Medical Director.
