We will enjoy a tour of the brewery. The BVB is a nanobrewery with attitude. The brewer has 8 beers on tap and three to four specialty beers on a rotating basis. Next stop on our Brewheads Tour is the Iowa Tap Room. This beer hall-style setting is in downtown Des Moines with 120 taps featuring all Iowa craft brews from over 25 Iowa Breweries! Feeling hungry? The Iowa Tap Room also has a variety of American food favorites. We will travel to Ames where we will enjoy a “taste of country” at the Alluvial Brewery. We will enjoy a tour of the brewery. Alluvial Brewery has small batch craft beer in a free range Iowa farm setting. The brewery’s tasting room have 10 beers on tap. It’s an amazing country experience that overlooks the prairies and wetlands. We’ll arrive back in Fort Dodge for our final stop at Shiny Top Brewing and tour the facility. Shiny Top Brew- ing is a micro brewery that specializes in hand crafted batch beer. Their facility features a three barrel system for small batch craft brews. Currently there are four varieties of craft beer on tap.
