AD SPECS
All ads must be CMYK formatted. Safety/Live Area for text 1/4 ̋minimum from the trim on all sides for ads with bleed. 1/4 bleed̋ minimum from final trim on all sides. No crop marks please. Keep all type and graphics within the page live area to ensure nothing is trimmed. Cindy’s Table is not responsible for trimming of type or graphics outside of the live area.
Format: For best results, please submit your file as a Press-Quality PDF (PDF/X-1a (2001/2003), U.S.). TIFF or EPS files are also accepted, if they are 300dpi resolution and flattened. All files must be converted to CMYK (no spot colors). Any white objects (including text) should be set to knockout. Quark or InDesign files will not be accepted.
Digital Ad Specs: We accept .swf/.jpg /.gif/3rd party files that are 150 lpi/dpi. Static files must not exceed 40k. Animated files must not exceed 40k initial load, 100k polite load. 15-second maximum length for all animation. Flash frame rate must be less than 18 frames per second; frame rate of twelve frames per second is preferred. Expanding ads are not supported at this time. Any sound must be user-initiated & defined as a click based interaction rather than a mouseover or rollover. All ads must be clearly labeled with “Play” and “Stop” controls. Client is responsible for testing animated ads on all browsers or operating systems for compatibility.
File Submission: Please compress your ad materials to smaller than 10MB with Zip and send by email. Include in the subject line of your e-mail the following: “advertiser’s name, size of ad, and publication date.” Cindy’s Table is not responsible for misdirected e-mails. Ads larger than 10MB must be submitted via Dropbox to [email protected].
