From early as 4000 BC when roads were paved manually with only stone in the ancient city of Ur in the modern-day Iraq, to the cur-rent smooth surfaces of modern asphalt roads, mechanization through asphalt mixing plants plays an important role in producing high quality asphalt hotmix.
Since Eduard Linnhoff started manufacturing Asphalt Mixing Plants in Berlin in 1919, his company LINNHOFF has played an active role in this process. Eduard Linnhoff was born in August 1890, in Bochum in the middle of the Ruhrgebiet, the German industrial centre where the industrialisation of Germany began in the earlier part of the 19th century. He joined the navy during the 1st world war where he was an engineer responsible for steam engines.
Just after the 1st World War in 1919, Eduard Linnhoff founded the company Eduard Linnhoff Maschinenfabrik in Tempelhof, Berlin. Right from the beginning, Linnhoff produced road construction machinery such as asphalt plants, asphalt sprayers and mastic plant machinery such as asphalt cookers and finishers.
In the 60s the Screen Drum concept for As-phalt Plants was developed by Linnhoff. This unique technology eliminated the use of hot elevator and vibrating screen that is common in conventional Asphalt Batching Plants. This concept not only reduces plant maintenance but fuel consumption as well, reducing over- all operating costs. Since then, a number of Screen Drum patents are established.
By August 1970, Klaus Thesenfitz, the grandsonof Eduard Linnhoff took over the company and renamed it Linnhoff & Thesenfitz.
In 1984, it acquired the Singapore factory of Wibau a well known manufacturer of asphalt plants at that time. The Screen Drum was then introduced to the Asia Pacific region. Besides the established brand name of LINNHOFF Asphalt Plants in Asia, Klaus Thesenfitz also founded LINTEC in 1988, producing the first Asphalt Plant in 100% ISO sea containers followed by containerized Concrete Batching Plants in the late 90s.
In 2003 IPS-EUROTEC was established in Singapore producing standard Concrete Bat-ching Plants.
With the opening of LINSTAL Poland in 2008 the LINTEC group enlarges the production and distribution facilities in Europe.
Further LINTEC Group has a close cooperation with Linnhoff & Henne GmbH & Co. KG and represents the company in many countries. Linnhoff & Henne is the longest established manufacturer and global market leader for ma-stic asphalt machines and related equipment.

construction which grants an easy transport to and a fast erection at the

Energy savingConsiderable saving of energy costs is achieved by the LINTEC double screen drum technique. This eliminates the hot elevator associated with other tower plants. The LINTEC screen drum combines the heating and screening of the minerals in a single process unit thus elimina-ting process heat loss due to material trans-portation. The heated minerals also benefit from the conducted heat from the drum shell thus effecting further savings.

Containerized Concrete Batching Plants
lintEC containerized batching plants are delivered for the production
of highest quality concrete with an output of up to 240 m³ per hour.
the state-of-the-art concept by lintEC supplies the perfect mix and
allows highest flexibility.
Today LINTEC supplies both asphalt and concrete batching mixing plants worldwide granting efficiency in transport, a time-saving erection of the plant and an early start of pro-duction. The individual plant units, installed within 100 % ISO containers, provide a com-pact transportable system that can be easily moved by road, rail or sea and suits stationary use as well as project business that requires an easy dismantling and moving of the plant to the next job site. For on-site installation, a prepared and compacted surface with a mini-mum ground-bearing pressure of 250 kN/m² issufficient, and additional concrete foundations are not necessary. The plants are designed to meet all German and CE regulations, as well as general technical requirements. The control cabin houses a user-friendly com-puterised process control system for the fully automatic operation of the plant, which incor-porates aggregate batching, delivery ticketing, production control and statistics for the pro-duction of specification quality concrete. This advanced process control contributes towards rationalised and profitable production.
LINTEC plants supported many prestigious projects and were used for constructions like the hotel ‚Emirates Palace‘, the ‚Formular 1-Race-Track‘ and ‚Yas Island‘ in Abu Dhabi, the ‚Palm Island‘ and ‚Waterfront‘ in Dubai in the Middle East as well for many other impor-tant projects in Russia and numerous other places around the world. No fewer than four LINTEC top of the range concrete batching plants of type CC3000D with an output of 240 m³ per hour serve the project „Al Raha Beach Development“ (see photo left) close to Abu Dhabi. LINTEC batching plants are available with op-tional equipment e.g.: upgrading capacities of cold feeding units up to max. 120 m³ each, admix weighing for highest quality dosage to meet most stringent specifications, storage silos up to 80 m³ including screw conveyors and full integration into the plants compute-rized control system, storage capacities for up to 6 tanks of each 1.500 l additives installed in one 40’ container, storage capacities for up to 25.000 l water installed in one 40’ container including water pump and high pressure pump for the cleaning of the mixer section.
