1. Teacher displays a poster of a cat.2. Teacher asks questions to elicit students response about the poster.3. Teacher guides the students to come out with the description of the animals and writes down their contribution on the board.

Teacher sets a goal and tells the students that they are going to write a short description of the animal.2. Teacher works with the students and uses their contribution to build up a short text.3. At the end, students are required to read the description they have constructed together and to copy it into their notebooks.
