For a long time Key operator / customer train-ing has been developed and delivered individu-ally by each country within the Konica Minolta community in Europe and although this adds a real closeness to the training subject, the fact cannot be missed that each National customer training team needs to develop the concept, content and processes of this training individu-ally, resulting in the same time-consuming ef-forts being duplicated across each National training centre within Konica Minolta.

As a commitment to our customers and as a part of the Konica Minolta customer training community, it is very important for us to share the best knowledge and practices, irrespective of how small or big each country is. This helps us to deliver a consistently high and effective training experience to all Konica Minolta customers in Europe, effectively helping them to get the best return from their investment in Konica Minolta prod-ucts and services.

Introduction :

Konica Minolta Production+ Training

In the Konica Minolta bizhub Press C1100 High-Volume digital press, our cus-tomers have a leading digital press with quality and productivity that enables many of them to expand their print business beyond their current markets.

To meet the peaks and unplanned demands from their customers, some of our customers need their digital press to be available and productive more of the time, both within and outside their service contract window, and do this while maintain-ing a consistent quality that their customers have come to expect of them.

Additionally, due to much higher print volumes for some of these customers, this can also mean Konica Minolta dealing with volumes of print that requires a much higher frequency of preventative maintenance (PM), each one requiring a visit by your service personnel. The natural solution to minimise downtime for the cus-tomer and frequency of visit for KM service is to equip the Key-Operator with skills, know-how and resources that keeps our customer’s digital press productive for more of the time and with fewer interruptions.

Consisting of advance operator training combined with specific operator replace-able units (parts), the Konica Minolta Production+ operator training equips the main operator with the skills, tools, know-how, resources and support to keep their digital press available and producing quality print-jobs for longer period without interruptions.

OBJECTIVESTrainers know the potential and application of the Production+ customer mainte-nance program to maintain productivity, quality and availability of Konica Minolta print system in high volume production print environment.

Trainers understand the actions and steps necessary by end user to accurately diagnose basic print issues and utilise the Productivity Enhancement Kit (PEK) to maintain productivity, quality and availability of their Konica Minolta digital print solution in safe, efficient and sustainable manner.

Trainers are able to apply the training skills, knowledge and material to train and prepare customers to utilise these skills in combination with PEK consumables.

TRAINING CONTENT• Introduction to the concept : Production+ and Productivity Enhancement Kit• How to troubleshoot / diagnose common print issues accurately• Accessing and dismantling PEK parts/consumables• Replacement & installation of PEK parts• Post installations set-up procedure• Operator training techniques

Introduction :

Konica Minolta Color Care Training

The commercial print market has evolved significantly with the introduction of high quality production print systems from Konica Minolta. Where only a few years ago there was a clear distinction between output from an offset press and a digital print system, today that gap has become significantly narrower. It is no longer surpris-ing to see a Konica Minolta digital press positioned beside a commercial offset press, with same jobs being printed by both devices, typically, long runs on the offset press and short run/quick turn-around jobs diverted to the konica Minolta digital press. The reason for this success is undoubtedly down to the quality of output from Konica Minolta production print systems, quality which is now being measured with and against the offset presses in order to maintain the consistency.

In order to meet this level of quality on a continual basis, our customers are now beginning to use the same colour management tools and applications on Konica Minolta systems as they do for their offset presses, with the ambition to achieve digital colour standards created for the offset presses.

Color Care is the ideal tool just for these kind of customers, who have a clear need not only to match the output from their offset press but are also looking to meet the new colour standards being introduced for the digital market.

This standardised approach to producing digital colour will significantly grow in the coming days and our customers will need not only the tools like Color Care but very importantly, they will also need user training that helps them to understand and utilise all the features of both Color Care and Konica Minolta Digital presses ...

2. TRAINING WITHIN YOUR NATIONAL/CLUSTER TRAINING FACILITIES

If you have a group of four or more customer trainers (national or a combined group of cluster trainers) requiring training and you do have sufficient training facilities and resources available, then we are able to schedule a collective training within your own facilities on request.
