    3.1.2 Spectrum of the solar radiation simulation For the solar radiation simulation, a lamp is combined with a boro-silicate filter. The solar spectrum of this combination is given below and fits well within the solar spectrum at noon in the summertime, at a latitude of 42 .

    3.1.3 Leakage current measurement Voltage is applied to the high voltage side of the insulator. The leakage current measurement is connected to the other ground side of the insulator.
