INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY

• An organization study implies a comprehensive and systematic approach adopted by a trainee in order to get him familiar with the working of an organization as a whole.

• An organizational study is the systematic study about how people - as individuals and as groups - act within organizations.

• It involves the study of the structure and functioning of its departments. The study of people in organization is important for future managers.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

1. The main objective of the study is to be getting an industrial

exposure and to know the functioning of an organization

2. To familiarize with the different departments in the

organization, the structure and their functioning.

3. To study about the working conditions provided by the

company.

• The data were collected through various methods. The methods adopted mainly are:

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

The study had its own limitations too. Following are some of

the limitations of the study . Even though the workers

rendered their helping hand in assisting the data collection, it

demanded to be cautious in seeing that their work was not

affected for the sake of the study.

This limitation has affected elaborate study.

• Since permission was required for entering the production

department, it was not able to enter there always. It was allowed

only when guide would be free.

• Even though employees were co-operative because of their

busy time schedule they were not able to contribute more.

• Absence of enough journals and publications about the industry.

Company profile• Brahmins Group has very humble beginning set up in 1987 by Sri V

Vishnu Namboothiri, a promising entrepreneur at Manakkad, Thodupuzha, Idukki District of Kerala State for manufacture of pickles and a flour mill.

• By the hard work and dedication of the promoter and with the Patronage from Syndicate Bank, Thodupuzha and well wishers, the unit began to grow slowly.

• With the growth of the unit, diversification of the activities was an undertaken and new product like rice powder, aerated water; Jams etc were introduced in the market.

• On account of the goodwill and wide acceptance of the product, the unit was able to perform well. Meanwhile, different units were floated by the promoter as Proprietorship and partnership concerns to meet the growing demands of the market.

As a result of the study, the researcher gives some suggestions for the success of organization.

Findings• Brahmins Foods India Pvt. Ltd is well established and

large opportunity for growing up. • The presence of well equipped, efficient and

experienced Board of Director has helped to improve its endeavors

• There are more than nine departments; Human Resources, Finance, Administration & Export, Purchase, Production, Research & Development, Logistics, Sales & Marketing, Information Technology

• The organization functions are very systematic; inspection is done to ensure the quality of the product as well as raw material.

• The company produced quality products at normal rate. Company produce good superiority product with the help of most modem technology for production

the researcher gives some recommendations for the success of organization.

• This is an organization that grows in a slow and steady manner. It makes greater contribution to the society and economy through different ways.
